We booked this hotel through Secret Escapes for a two night getaway. On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and showed us to a beautiful room. Particularly liked the spacious modern bathroom and great to have a dressing area too. We dined both nights in the bistro and the food was wonderful. The open fires and whole ambience of the...

Thank you for your lovely feedback - we're very proud of our hotel, bistro, location and most importantly; staff. We will definitely look into a partition door in the future between the bar and function room. We trust that once you were seated in our private dining area, you were undisturbed. We look forward to welcoming you back in the...

Gorgeously romantic venue. The food was stunning and it's an ideal wedding venue. The food and drinks are pricey, but it's worth the indulge. Ideal for a date night, we loved our cosy drinks by the fire!

Booked here for an overnight stay on a recent business trip to Chesterfield....arrived on a very foggy, miserable mid week evening to find a warm welcome at a super hotel. Great rooms fitted to a very high standard with very comfortable beds and a modern well specced bathroom. Food in the restaurant was of a high standard, the only downside...

I booked this through Secret Escapes as a surprise overnight stay for a birthday celebration for a party of 8. From start when I enquired on the phone about availability to finish when we checked out the staff were so friendly and helpful. One of the key factors for us was that there is a dog friendly room which is...

The room was very comfortable and well presented. Staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant menu was very interesting though the implementation didn't quite meet expectation; I had a starter & main - the starter was very good but the main course was less so. If I was in Chesterfield again I would certainly think of returning.

Staff very friendly and polite. Breakfast fantastic - thank you. Evening meal, superb. Room, plain but clean, not too "hotel hot". Views, lovely especially in the morning mist. So, why only 3 stars? Well, it's a 4 star hotel and my wife and I choose hotels that have a bath in the room. We don't have a bath at home...

We stayed at the Peak Edge Hotel for a family wedding just before Christmas, and it was fabulous. Everything was, as we expected, very festive, and each room had a Christmas tree in it making it feel very cosy. As a wedding venue it was just right, a nice warm bar for a couple of drinks before the ceremony, followed...

Wifey had booked a Saturday night package as a Christmas Present. We spent the day walking and then checked into hotel approx. 3 pm, changed and had a glass of Prosecco and a few cocktails. These hit the spot, lovely bar ambience and excellent cocktails. They do have a lot of weddings and this Saturday was no different, but not...

Brilliant finding this hotel, friendly and helpful staff, accepts a dog, lovely countryside view from the room, spa treatments, we had mulled wine and mince pies on arrival, my husband at last found some where he could have a perfectly cooked fillet steak, that melts in your mouth even though he has it well down, and the roast parsnips were...
