Excellent dinner and breakfast. Buffet style, plentiful and varied. The rooms are tidy and nice, they are all on the first floor (without lift). The staff are friendly (they even speak a little Italian at the reception).

Nice atmosphere, dog friendly. The staff was nice but sometimes annoying, trying to speak German to us and giving us German menus when we clearly said English please. I know the Austrian border is near but not all tourists are Austrian!
Besides this detail, food was good and copious. We chose:
- Turkey breast filled with sun dried tomatoes and mozzarella on a bed of fettucine
- Turkey filled with ham, peas and bechamel
- Pork covered in seeds, stuffed with foie gras
- Pork filet filled with mushroom, onion and bacon
As very often in Hungary, meats come breaded which is good for the palate, not so much for the waistline!
Besides this detail, food was good and copious. We chose:

Good hotel with excellent restaurant, with dishes very well kept and plentiful. Very friendly staff. Featuring a spa, the guest house is convenient for visiting the nearby park natural heritage of UNESCO and historic Esterhazy residence.

We had already bad experiences at this restaurant from last years: they were unfriendly, slowly, food average… However, we wanted to give on more chance: maybe covid forced them to change… no it did not happen, it became even worse!!! We had to wait again a lot, the waiter was unfriendly: did not look at me while ordering,as I asked for a side dish, he told it is not on the menu. Later I realized, that they have it for an other dish, wanted to change, what was not possible. So we left without eating!!!

Traditional and cosy hotel/panzio/restaurant not far from Austrian border.
Close to Neusiedlersee National Park, Schneeberg skiing resort.
Rooms are clean and big. Just a bit outdated, but ok.

We didn't know what to expect here but discovered a nice comfortable large room with a private outdoor gated sitting area and extra bonuses in the quiet village. We rented bikes (a double also), swam at the nearby hot springs, choice of pools with many young school kids or many old folks and enjoyed both the breakfast and the buffet supper meal in the restaurant at the hotel. Plenty of parking, a popular icecream spot, we were looking for just a place to stay and found much more, very nice. English spoken varied but was adequate for us getting by, we speak no Hungarian.

3 gyerekkel 6 éjszakát töltöttünk itt. 2 egymás melletti szobát kaptunk, de létezik apartman, valamint 2 egymáshoz kapcsolódó szoba is- ezeket hosszú idővel előre kell foglalni. A szobák tiszták, kényelmesek voltak. A félpanziós ellátás nagyon finom volt, megfelelő választékkal. A kis wellnessben a szaunák nagyon jók, a medence kicsi, de felfrissülésre megfelelő. A hotel gyakorlatilag a kerékpárúton fekszik, nagyon jó kiindulópont a környék felfedezésére. Megfizethető áron 2.000 ft/nap kölcsönöztek megbízható kerékpárokat, különböző kerékpárok közül választhattak mind a felnőttek, mind a gyerekek. A személyzet kiemelkedően kedves, segítőkész, béketűrő volt.
We stayed 6 nights with 3 children in this hotel. Received 2 rooms which were next to each other. Connecting room and apartment is also availabe but you have to book it months before. Rooms were clean and spacious. Half pension was tasty and we had a sufficient choice. The saunas are very good in the small wellness part, although the pool is only enough for refreshment. The hotel is on the bike route, so it is a really good starting point to discover the region. You can rent a good bike on a good price : 2.000 Ft/day. We could chose even the bikes for the kids. Very nice receptionists, very-very clean room and bathroom. Airconditoning is turned on, it was the best decision to come here. Even i came for VOLT Festival, it took me 20 minutes to get there by car in at normal speed, and then get a taxi to the festival entrance. RECOMMENDED IF YOU LIKE IT CLEAN and ROMANTIC.

The staff was nice and helpful, always keep smiling. Good facilities, spa, bike for rent and another spa in walking distance. The rooms are clean. Try to choose a room not above the restaurant. It is a little bit noisy and smelly.

Great restaurant with really tasteful food, Portions are very large and creative arranged. Tables and reataurant hall are clean and very well decorated. Stuff is very polite. Great place for peaceful and quiet family or friend dinner.

Dobrý den Štěpko,
pokud mohu reagovat, tak ani já nejsem příznivcem Slevomatů. Proto si vždy objednávám pobyt sám přímo v penzionu Tornacos. Cenu dostanu stejnou, jako přes slevoportály, ale jsem host platící penzionu, ne slevoportálu... Jsem mnohaletý hoteliér, proto ta nechuť platit někomu jinému, protože sám vím ze své praxe, že chování personálu k hostům hotelu/slevoportálu je pak trochu jiné... A teď k Vaší otázce - vždy jsme dostali na výběr stručnější jídelní lístek, ze kterého jsme si složili vlastní - vynikající menu. Jak polévku, tak hlavní jídlo, i desert. K tomu máte otevřený salátový bar s výběrem jak čerstvé, tak nakládané zeleniny.
Vím, že když se sešla velká skupina "slevomaťáků", tak měli k večeři bufet, u kterého se nechutně cpali, jak "polský zájezd". My vždy dostali jídelní lístek a byli obslouženi na úrovni, nemuseli jsme se tlačit s nenasytnými slevomaťáky...
Snídaně jsou pak pro všechny bufetové, velice bohaté. Jídlo je v Tornacos vždy vynikající, porce víc než dostatečné, určitě budete spokojeni. Mimochodoem, od 5. do 8. března tam jedeme znovu, to snad je dostatečnou referencí :-)
