Lovely people who really wants to make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Breakfast, swimming pool, next to really nice restaurants, this place is just perfect for a nice resting stay.

Hi Angeline, Thank you so much for reviewing Devonshire House. I know what a busy lady you are and appreciate the effort to do the review. It was good getting to know you and your lovely daughter. I trust she has settled well in Cape Town. We look forward to your next visit.

Friendly, quiet and central location for Cape Town and surrounds. Helen and Tony went out of their way to help with all sorts of things such as local advice (location of police station!) and even use of computer.

Thank you for taking time in your busy day to review Devonshire House. We appreciate your affirming comments. Next time you visit the wi fi will be tip top. There was a wire that was pulled out and another that was twisted and it was fixed in 15 minutes. So sorry you had to struggle with room reception. Thank you...

Recently up at UCT for the annual Summer School, opted to stay here because of the immediate proximity to campus, but got so much more. Helen and Tony's warm and informal hospitality put me right at ease from the start, and made me feel I was among friends. Everything about the experience was ideal -- secluded leafy location, quiet comfortable...

Visiting family and friends in Cape Town for a few days, I was looking for a conveniently located and comfortable place to stay, ideally with a swimming pool. Location: tick. Aside from being almost within walking distance of my various destinations, it is convenient to shops, restaurants, the freeways, the city and is almost on the University campus. A huge...

Tony and I were so pleased to hear that your stay with us at Devonshire was a good experience. Unfortunately the parking remains a thorn in our flesh. Trust we will see you next time you visit...

I stayed for one night as I was visiting University of Cape Town. My room was most comfortable with a lovely view of the mountain. It was quiet at night too. Great breakfast. I will certainly stay again

I couldn't get enough of spectacular view from my (very spacious) room. Breakfasts delicious, atmosphere so comfortable and inviting. Loved the paintings and decor, the garden and shared...

Devonshire House is charming and well-located in Rondebosch near the University and the Botanical Garden, on a quiet street near shops and restaurants. Helen and Tony are wonderful, accommodating hosts, and prepare a great breakfast.
