We enjoyed our stay at the excellent and very friendly Palm House. Very good Two Oceans support to runners making it an excellent location for future similar events. It is in a quiet area yet close to many Cape Town highlight areas.

From the minute I spoke to Gilbert I was more than impressed. They could not have done more to be helpful , caring and service orientated. Unfortunately I do. KT know the driver who accompanied me to the garage to sort my tire out.... but my thanks to him as well. What a pleasure.

We stayed for two nights at the end of a two week holiday, staying in a family room close to the swimming pool. Palm House is highly recommended - from the friendly, efficient staff who did so much to help us to the charming, welcoming owners who showed great interest in us during our stay. The main house is a...

We were a family of 5 staying at the Pool House for 3 nights towards the end of Dec. The Palm House is located in a quiet suburban area - lots of schools around. Definitely away from the buzz of Camps Bay, and for that matter, even a high street of restaurants and cafe's. We had a car at our...

Palm House provided us with a lovely base within Cape Town, whilst we explored the city as a family. We stayed in Carmel Cottage which was spacious, practical and comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning and a snack every now and then in the afternoon/ evening. Transport was handy to have but not cheap…! Overall, a great place to...

The staff were kind and compassionate. The grounds are beautiful and tranquil. From the minute we entered the grounds we felt relaxed. It has good security as well. Completely forgot that we were in the middle of a busy suburb. The food was also scrumptious.

I really enjoyed my stay at Palm House, it was quiet and relaxing. The area by the pool and my room were highlights. The property would benefit from a lighter/brighter feel as, in places darker furnishings and decoration detracted from a lovely property. A litle more effort in grilling cooked breakfasts would also be of benefit.

Visited for 6 nights while visiting for 50th birthday, primarily for cricket match at Newlands Stadium, which is close by. We arrived a few hours early due to early flight arrival but the guest house were more than happy to hold our luggage while we explored for a few hours prior to check in, also offering us coffee and the...

Literally couldn't write a bad review even if I wanted to. Majestic old house, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, amazing food and very central. Quick fifteen minute drive botanical gardens, surfers beaches, restaurant strips and historical sites. Also offers the best farmhouse breakfast in town. Had an awesome midweek stay!

“As a family we stayed in one of the cottages. It was great. With three young children I am always conscious of noise - either the noise we make or the noise of young revelers coming in late. We could be as noisy as we needed knowing that we were not disturbing anybody nor were we disturbed by anybody else.”
