This beautifully situated classic Manoir is spacious, exceptionally quiet and comfortable, but best of all is owned and run by the most friendly and helpful couple we have ever encountered in many years' travelling in France. They started with their restaurant across the road in the oldest house in this sleepy village, and then they established the Manoir Hotel. The...

We stopped overnight en route to our house in the Lot. It is a handsome building with very attractive grounds. Our room was very comfortable and imaginatively designed and tastefully furnished. For those with dogs, this hotel is perfect, because there is a lift that takes you direct from the car park to the floor on which your room is...

We used this hotel for our wedding party, the hosts helped us manage our guests, they arranged transportation to and from our venue. They were very, very helpful in helping us understand the city. Overall this hotel is beautiful place with wonderful hosts! I would definitely recommend it.

This hotel was a recommendation for our visit for a nearby wedding. We were travelling from Australia and didn't know the area. Correspondence with the hotel prior to our journey re taxis and transport were promptly responded to . On arrival Sylvie was very friendly and supportive knowing she had a big group going to the wedding. The hotel was...

Trevor T and others have accurately summarised all the details, but just quickly this is an excellent family run, family friendly smaller *** hotel an hour or so south west of Paris. Our hosts looked after us and our extended family very well for three days and virtually gave us "run of the house" to look after the babies. I'm...

While meandering down to South West France we decided to stay a night near Versailles so that we could visit the gardens. The weather was very hot and the park so crowded that we didn't stay very long and it was a great relief to arrive at the lovely Manoir and relax with Jean François over a glass (or 2!)...

This was the best stay in a hotel I can remember and I stay in about 40 hotels every year, and have been doing so for 20 years. As I am vegetarian this can always be difficult in France but their response to my email was both timely and in good English (thanks Alain) so this gave me a lot...

Impressive Manor house in a nice park, rooms are clean and cozy, the nearby restaurant surprises with remarkable tastes and a very friendly service. Special thanks to Sylvie and her colleague, which were highly committed and solved my rental-car problem. All in all, a perfect place ! - I'll come back. Peter Butsch, OHARA GmbH, Germany

Only here overnight as on a quick visit to the area but shall definitely return. Located on the edge of the Chevreuse natural park it is an ideal place for those into hiking and cycling. For the less energetic, like me, good for driving to interesting towns (Dampiere, Rambouillet etc) and sights and, of course, to nearby Versailles. The manor...

Great hotel... great staff. Really a good choice if you have a car. Rooms are great, breakfast is OK. Very quite and great surroundings. Nothing bad to say. I just loved it. For sure I will return when I will be in Paris next time.
