We stayed a night at the Pandy Inn as a last minute get away and really enjoyed it. The pub was really full of character, log burning stoves and tonnes of old world charm. The owners were helpful and the food delicious. We stayed in the back room of their wooden chalet, situated at the back of the pub. Our...

Nice enough pub with pleasant staff. Food was average. I just wonder why pubs aren't serving toad-in-the-hole, cottage pie etc. I feel they could do more than scampi, chips and peas which were just ok. Nothing special. So nothing wrong but I wouldn't rush back either. Nothing to distinguish it from just another pub down the road.

this pub has very modern accommodation in the form of a traditionally built wooden chalet based on the architecture of the mountainous region of Southern Poland. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and equipped with all the mod-cons we have come to expect. The food is very good and cooked to order, the bar itself is quaint and dates back to...

This is an old inn with rooms in a solid wood log cabin in the garden. I have stayed in every room here now, and prefer the one at the back on the top floor, overlooking the Golden valley. Good quality linens, toiletries, showers, but not bath. Quality solid wood furniture, all really cosy. The owners are lovely and the...

We spent two nights at the Pandy Inn in Room 2. It was a downstairs room facing a field. Well-equipped, lovely and very comfortable. Each night we ate at the inn. It was really good food -- fresh and generous. We enjoyed having a drink with the locals. They were welcoming and fun. Bill, the owner, was most accommodating, inc,using...

Lovely chalet style rooms in a beautiful location in the Golden Valley. If you passed by the inn it wouldn't be your first choice but don't let that put you off. The food was fantastic. The Herefordshire fillet steak was to die for. Great value too.

Had an interesting stay at the Pandy. Having read some of the mixed reviews we weren't quite sure what to expect. The rooms are located in a wooden lodge at the back of the pub and having parked we were greeted by various wild life! The rooms themselves are very nice, spacious and although our room overlooked the car park...

This was the nearest place available for the Hay Festival, I didn't read the reviews, I needed somewhere to stay. Yes there was a long wait for food, but the place was packed on Saturday night with live music. It has well kept local beer. The food was probably more expensive than average pub food, but it was good quality...

We called in for lunch and waited and waited and waited. The barman assured us it was on its way each time we asked, in the end after and hour and a half we got a refund and left. There was a family group and a couple in front of us so they were not busy. We dont know what...

The sight of a primitive outside men's toilet, that looked like the sort of thing that you would expect in the 1950s, should have been a warning. The beer was in good condition. The range of the menu seemed smaller than that was shown on the web site and the prices were higher than we had expected to pay. The...
