Went for lunch with the family. Took a while for the food to arrive. It's one of those places where you have to order and pay for veg separately so works out quite expensive. Good quality, tasty meal.

Called in for dinner, really nice atmosphere, superb food, nice pleasant staff, real olde worldly pub, roaring fires in the public rooms, good choice of beers and wines, lovely setting in Conwy valley, easy car parking

Hello Sue- We're very pleased that you enjoyed your time here. (We're also very pleased you enjoyed the atmosphere!) We find that nothing's better than country-cosy surroundings and the original features our inn has, and we're very proud of it. To hear you liked it as well is great. We hope to see you again soon.

Stayed here for one night on a Saturday night. Arrived to a very friendly receptionist who lead us to our beautiful room that looked out onto the fields. Very spacious bathroom. Both rooms were immaculate. The real treat was the pub that the rooms are attached to. We HAD to have 3 courses as we didn't want to miss out....

Excellent friendly staff, good food, pleasant restaurant, good service etc. Menu didn't change in 3 dsys, so may have worn thin for a longer stay. The only lack is a guest lounge, so if you want a cup of tea in the afternoon...

Friday to Sunday stay with beautiful views across fields of sheep sweeping up to the hills with a terrific sun rise. Room very comfortable with a massive bed and spotlessly clean. Excellent food, both breakfast and evening, although very poor service on Friday evening but made up for the following night. A very pleasant stay.
