We were supposed to stay here 2 nights. When we arrived it was completely empty and we were asked to sit and wait. After waiting for quite awhile and still having been told nothing we startedvto explore the hotel including several open rooms. What we saw was on the ground floor and was deplorable. The pillows were dirty, the roms...

We visited Mannar in December as avid bird watchers and 4 adults shared a family room. The room & bathroom were both spacious and clean. As the hotel is also a function centre it is a popular place but the nights were generally quiet. Food and service is average.

Basic room, AC, good food, helpful staff, Clean, good location, Keeri Beach is close by but cannot use it during off season, gets too dirty with sea weeds. You are not allowed to drink & smoke inside but they will arrange the place for you outside. Need to bring your own beer and drinks

Mannar has lots of guesthouses and a few very upmarket places, nothing really in between. Ahash falls under first category, and is reasonable for the price. Location: in a suburb, 3 km from centre. Regular buses. Rooms are a bit away from the road, hence no noise problem. Smallish but good AC and wifi. Large bathroom but basic, e.g. no...

The environment is clean and nice with a small garden front, a large lobby area to sit and rest. All the rooms are on the ground floor. There is a recption hall...

We were the only guests at the time and having ordered a triple and a double, they offered the triple with 3 queen size beds!! Their beds are much bigger in size when compared to other hotels. From the two rooms, both of them had super air conditioning units. But the triple which we ordered had a really weird smell...
