The location was beautiful, the cottage was luxurious and comfortable, and hosts Clare and Peter (and Kizzie and Karma) were great company. The changing views of the estuary from the cottage really enhanced the al fresco dining experience at the outdoor verandah. We really enjoyed our stay, and look forward to returning sometime in the future.

A little bit of paradise! Just what we wanted for our relaxing, laid back break. As regular travellers to NZ and the Nelson region in particular, Kisamar is a little gem. Stunning setting. Hosts, Clare & Peter have created a wonderful home and venue for travellers seeking a bit of luxury away from home and will remain friends. Their attention... More

We had a very nice stay (3 nights). The accomation is very modern and well-equipped (kitchen, large bathroom, washing machine,...). The hosts, Pete and Clare, are the most friendly hosts you can wish: allways ready to help you, but respecting your privacy at any time. Every day they took care off a little surprise: a little note by the bed,... More

We had been travelling around Australia and the South Island of NZ and had stayed in some wonderful locations and had been received in each place by very friendly hosts. To our surprise, a fabulous welcome awaited us at Kisamar. We arrived on a sunny day and couldn't believe the location. Kisimar is set in its own grounds which run... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the journey to this accommodation as it is in such a gorgeous area. On arrival we were warmly welcomed both by Pete and Clare and the two dogs, who are absolutely adorable. By the end of our stay we felt as if we had known them all for years. They were the perfect hosts and have a great... More

We had a wonderful tour of the New Zealand South Island and thought we had experienced the best of New Zealand hospitality. How wrong we were. Clare and Peter are a lovely couple who could not do enough for us. They took excellent hospitality to a new and higher dimension. Their accommodation is out of this world. We guests had... More
