Our family of four (children 9 and 11) from Belgium/Norway stopped here for two nights in December 2015. If it hadn't been for our wish to see as much as possible of New Zealand in our three weeks there, we would have loved to stay longer at Kimeret Place. This is a fantastic B&B. We stayed in the lovely cottage... More

Our stay at Kimeret Place was very nice. Asin most of our stays, the service was great as were the staff. There is a lovey waterfront near by and a nice village. I highly recommend this location when you are driving the north Island as it's in the middle of Blenheim and Punakaiki. A great place to stop over and... More

We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our trip to New Zealand - Jo was very welcoming and provided the most amazing home cooked breakfasts we have ever had on holiday! We stayed in the one bedroomed apartment which was very comfortable and had wonderful views down towards the estuary. Jo was very helpful booking us a kayaking... More

We stayed for two nights in this magnificent B&B. What a place to stay! Jo is friendly and welcoming and does everything she possibly can to make you feel at home. She serves a delicious continental breakfast with cereals, homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit and every day a different kind of cooked breakfast, yummy! The room and bathroom were very tidy... More

We spent two nights here in January. Beautiful views, beautiful comfortable room with so many little extras that made all the difference...homemade cakes in the room, DVDs to watch when the weather was inclement, a hot tub, swimming pool. The breakfast was first class, miles better than many of the buffet breakfasts supplied by several hotels we stayed at during... More

We've stayed in B&Bs for 20+ years and I think Kimeret Place is the best ever - anywhere. The setting is so beautiful but is overshadowed by the hospitality from Jo and Peilin. From the moment we arrived we felt like special friends and they went out of their way to make every bit of our stay perfect. Jo's breakfasts... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights in this wonderful B&B. Jo could not have been more helpful. Our large room which included a sitting room, full kitchen, bedroom and bathroom was beautifully and comfortably appointed. Jo is a graduate of Cordon Bleu so breakfasts were amazing and she catered to our vegetarian needs. She even baked the morning croissants... More

Kimeret is a quiet, clean and beautiful place. My wife Marijo and I stayed 3 nights. We highly recommend booking here. The views from here are magnificent. To top it off there is a winery across the street. The hosts made us feel like we were special guests. Thank you Jo for the great food, your kindness and for making... More

We rented the cottage for four nights. The cottage overlooks a tidal estuary, and is both comfortable and attractively furnished. Jo is a remarkable hostess, concerned about every aspect of Kimeret Place. The breakfast is extraordinary with cold fruit and yoghurt, plus a splendid breakfast prepared by Jo, a Cordon Bleu trained chef. Internet worked perfectly and the cottage offered... More
