If you are planning a trip to Abel Tasman, and even if you're not, consider a few nights at Kimeret Place. It is simply incredible. We stayed in the Alexander Suite for two nights in December. The room was large, comfortable, spotless and beautifully appointed. The bathroom was perfect in every way, including the wonderful bathtub and top of the...

My wife and I spent two nights with Gill at Kimeret Place on our whirlwind South Island honeymoon. Gill make us feel very much at home from the start (actually before we even arrived, given I'd left one of our bags at a previous location and had to get our stray luggage couriered up to her!) Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable...

My girlfriend and me stayed in the cottage for a weekend together with some friends. It was one of the best locations we have ever stayed in, even though we both travel for business a lot and are used to stay in 5 star hotels. Gill is a wonderful host and very helpful in pointing out good places to see,...

Have just had a wonderful weekend at this blissful place. The setting and views are beautiful and the rooms very well appointed and comfortable. The rooms had everything we wanted and were quiet and peaceful. Gill, our host, was very welcoming and prepared the most delicious breakfasts. I would thoroughly recommend Kimeret as a place to stay when in the...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and wished we could've stayed longer. If it wasn't for the travel agent, we never would've known about it. We are used to staying in 5 star luxury hotels and the idea of a bed and breakfast never appealed to me. I have since changed my mind. This place was 5...

Location, food, host, views could not be faulted. We had a brilliant weekend away at Kimeret, and it's in a great spot for driving into Richmond, Nelson, or west towards Golden Bay. We will absolutely return!

We were so fortunate to find Kimeret Place when looking for an accommodation in the Nelson region. We traveled through the north and south islands of New Zealand for our honeymoon, staying in over a half dozen different accommodations, and Kimeret was one of the highlights. The house and rooms were amazing. We were upgraded to the Alexander Suite, which...

A perfect stay because of the owner's kidness, the place itself and also because of the new year's eve we spent there. It was unespected for us tu spend a so pleasant evening so far away from home ! The location is very good to discover the Abel Tasman park. Go there and no hesitate !

It is hard to find any fault with this excellent B & B. Gill is a charming hostess who values the small touches that make any stay just that little bit special. Each night we had chocolates on the bed along with an interesting page containing a Maori legend. If fault was to be found it was that charges for...

Nothing is missing in this B&B. Gill has very high standards and our room was to die for!! Spacious luxury with beautiful views from the verandah. Every little touch ensures your stay meets all expectations. Each day fresh cakes, chocolates on the pillow and fulfilling breakfasts, quality I'm sure Gill continually works hard to maintain. Definately not to be missed...
