I contacted the proprietor by email to enquire about booking for 2 nights B & B in April. Three days later I was sent a reply that noted my request but also stated that the booking had not been confirmed and that I should wait for further information. 4 days afterwards I asked if they could confirm my booking within...

Just come back from a short stay at this lodge and would highly recommend it. We only stayed for one night as we were walking in the Peak district. The room we stayed in was second to none, scrupulously clean, modern and well looked after. The lodge itself is a stables conversion and has been converted to the highest specifications....

I have stayed in many B&B's all over the country and have to say this is the best one I have ever stayed in. Mike and Jo make you feel at home, the decor is modern and fresh and the breakfast is cooked to your liking and really sets you up for the day. I recommend this to anyone thinking...

The place was spotless and had everything in the room you could think off, even bottles of water. The cooked breakfast was reallt good as well and it was no trouble for him to do me scrambled eggs with mine instead of fried. What a friendly man the host was.

A really great location for us as we were visiting friends in the area. A very warm welcome, the room was lovely, everything immaculately clean. Breakfast in the morning was very nicely cooked. We'll be back for another visit!

Stayed three nights for a buisness trip in the local area. Mike the owner is a diamond, met me at the car showed me around and made a stranger feel at home. The rooms are spotless, the exterior is spotless and the breakfast is amazing. You would be hard pushed to get better or expect more.

I stayed one night when I was delivering a training event locally. I chose this b&b after reading the reviews and because it was very convenient for Chesterfield. Mike came out to greet me at the car, as I was parking and carried my overnight bag for me. He explained how everything worked and upgraded me to a lovely big...

We stayed at this guest house for a long weekend at the end of January 2012. As expected the weather was cold, but the welcome from the owners Mike and Jo was very warm. The room was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated and the breakfast was the largest and the best one that we have had at a guest house....

Just come back had a wonderful time in Bolsover Once again Mike and his wife where superb hosts. Who couldn'd do enough for you Thanks It is easy to find off the M1 but don’t be fooled you cannot hear or see the motorway. It isconvenient for all the attractions around the Chesterfield area. Will definitely be going there again.
