Good value traditional accommodation run by friendly people. We got a family room that worked really well. There is quite a lot of noise due to the wooden floors (thanks whoever was above us) so you might want to consider earplugs. Breakfast is 5 Euro which was enjoyed by all

We booked La Morada del Cid just for a stopover returning to the UK but we'll definitely be back. And for a longer stay as the area has a lot to offer that we didn't have time to explore. Easy to find, park right outside and very much part of this truly historical town. Inside, cleverly converted with a lot... More

Really old converted farmhouse and barns. This old stone building has been tastefully converted. Oak staircases and each room has its own decor. The village is the birthplace of El Cid who lived in the 11th century. Located just north of Burgos (reputed to be the oldest city in the world and the burial place of El Cid) this hostal... More

We really loved this place. It wasn't luxurious, but it was very comfortable, and good quality all around. The owners were genuinely friendly. We had an excellent breakfast to start us on the day. Thanks so much for your hospitality !

I spent only one night and not knowing what to expect from a cheap B & B, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation. The owners were extremely friendly when I arrived at a late hour and provided me with a choice of rooms. The breakfast was freshly prepared and of first class quality. I would not... More

Rather stay in Burgos, we spent one night at La Morada del Cid during a trip along the Camino de Santiago. We were very glad we did. It's a short distance north of the city, so requires having a car. But parking is easy, the very helpful owners (who live next door) speak excellent English, and the inn itself is... More

The guest house was a little hard to find due to a recently opened motor way and our SATNAV did not recognise it, I should have down loaded a google map. As we were in the area the local garage knew exactly the location. No worries! Once there we were delighted, all the reviews were correct, it is the most... More

We spent a night here, driving through Northern Spain. It's a lovely old house, and we had the choice of two rooms. It was pretty, the owner was lovely, and breakfast was good. Very peaceful, and we noticed a few families were staying here when we did. Definitely recommended!

Arrived late, a little hard to find, but owner was looking out for us. Lovely old building. Our room was in a slightly newer part, so we didn't get the full impact. Room was of a good size even for the 4 of us. Breakfast was fresh cake, coffee and cereal. Also the freshest orange juice I have ever had,... More

“As parking is a nightmare in Bourgos, it is better to stay here. We had a good time in Bourgos and enjoyed the cocktail hour, the cathedral and Spanish dining outside. Parking outside is easy as the place is located in a village just an 8 minute drive to downtown Bourgos.”
