Old hotel but clean. The air condition works well, cold. The staffs are always around, it seems most of them are recruited from the countryside. The breakfast is very very simple, just a piece of cake with tea of coffee placed on the table in front of the room.
The cleanliness should be improved especially in the bathroom, and would be nice if they can improve the service by providing toilet paper and proper breakfast (so far they are serving 1 pcs of bread and hot tea only), additional facilities such as hot shower would be great!
this hotel is good. right at the main centre. museum moko is just in front of it. though the condition of the hotel is very standard, it's good enough for a hotel in alor. don't expect the wifi'll run good for 24 hours. it's alor, and the connection sometimes good sometimes no. just face it. the staff are friendly, you can ask mama mery to find you a motorbike for rent with standard price, around a hundred rupiah.
The hotel rooms are disappointing, but the hotel had wifi, and the staff tries to be responsive to guests. The VIP rooms have an air conditioner, western toilet, a mandi, and a detachable shower head (for cold-water showers). Neither the toilet seat nor the seat cover for our toilet were attached to the toilet itself, but the hotel rectified the problem when we complained. The VIP rooms are situated around a common area, which was frequently noisy. Our room, which had one large bed (queen?) and one twin bed had only one small blanket, but the hotel provided another upon request. There were two clean but ratty-looking towels in the room. The hotel provided soap and toothbrushes, and purchased low-quality toilet paper upon request. Breakfast is tea and a sweet snack.
Room is reasonably clean with aircon and hot water. Only a few rooms have hot water! But get a mosquito spray or bring a net. Asked the staff to spray our rooms a few times but having said yes, they never did it! Breakfast was only a small glass of tea/coffee with a piece of packaged bread. The restaurant next to the hotel only served reserved diver guests staying in the hotel (practically useless for other guests). No toiletries, towel, toilet paper were provided (have to buy). Overall the hotel needs an upgrade including the customer service!!
