Had a wonderful stay at Lowerfield Farm. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay then I highly recommend this beautiful location. Good-sized room, comfy bed and the breakfasts are truly amazing.
Just had a lovely short break at this B & B, Sue and Gareth were really friendly and welcoming, couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were lovely size really comfortable huge bed. Breakfast loads of variety and really tasty. Great location for getting about the Cotswolds. Well organised, online menu for you to pick what you would like for breakfast next morning, they had dvds you could borrow to watch, there was a plan for a two hour drive taking in all the local sites and small villages you wouldn't normally see and recommendations to eat and drink along the way. Highly recommend, will definitely be going back again.
We had a very relaxing stay at Lowerfield Farm. The hosts could not be more welcoming, helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are amazing and very appetising, especially the homemade bread, preserves and their free range eggs. The farm setting is extremely quiet and peaceful with plenty of great walks on your doorstep and is very local to Broadway and the surrounding area.
This was our second visit to this fabulous b & b! Once again there was nothing negative about the experience at all, sue and Gareth are truly the nicest hosts we have ever met! Breakfast was amazing I highly recommend the pancakes! The atmosphere of the whole residence is so cosy it was just what we needed to relax :) if you are a visitor that appreciates the little touches this is the place, wonderful experience cannot wait to visit again thank you sue and Gareth for a lovely time x
We were SO LUCKY to stay at Lowerfield Farm for three nights in October and it was our favorite place during the entire trip! Sue and Gareth are incredible hosts and just really nice people! They constantly went out of their way to make us comfortable in their beautiful home, and we never felt like an imposition. We really enjoyed chatting with them and they gave us extensive information about the area. Their location is just outside a very picturesque village and central to many great restaurants and attractions. They also have a large car park which was a real treat! Our room was spotlessly clean and filled with thoughtful touches like a great bed, soft linens, snuggly robe, makeup mirror, tea supplies. and fluffy towels. They also have a refrigerator available, unlimited filtered water, and a well stocked honor bar. We didn't use most of the common areas because our room was so cozy, but there is an inviting lounge as well as the spacious breakfast room. Every morning we were greeted by song birds in the pear tree outside our window, and we ended each day by enjoying a spectacular night sky filled with stars. But the absolute best part of. our stay were the delicious breakfasts! Oh those yummy breakfasts! Gareth is a really great cook or should I say Chef, and everything we ate was delightful and cooked to order. We especially enjoyed eating fruits and veggies from their own garden as well as homemade yogurt, sausages, and jam. Sue even went out of her way to work around my wheat allergy and served me several different types of gluten-free bread. Each night you order exactly what you want from a varied online menu and your chosen breakfast is served hot and fresh just a few minutes after you sit down. You can linger as long as you want and enjoy extra cups of tea or their excellent coffee, and we never felt rushed or hurried to finish. Sue and Gareth, thank you so much for your hospitality and being the highlight of our trip! We hope to visit again on our next visit to the UK.…
Spent a lovely couple of nights here and enjoyed a warm welcome, a very comfortable ensuite twin room with great shower and very comfortable beds. Really liked all the extra touches....fresh milk, filtered water. Breakfast choice and quality was very good (perfect poached eggs 2 days running) with a great range of homemade and local products. Sadly didn't get chance to take advantage of the very well stocked honesty bar and comfortable lounge, but maybe next time. Strongly recommended for a stay in the Cotswolds. Plenty of good dinner options locally too.
Our hosts Sue and Gareth were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our 7 night stay with a lovely choice of breakfasts accompanied by home made bread and jams and fruit from from the farm. Ideally located to take advantage of some country walks, visit beautiful Cotswolds towns and villages and other attractions, Gareth pointed some of walks available, which we enjoyed. Our room offered beautiful views of the country and hillsides which given the wonderful weather we enjoyed waking up to and relaxing in the evening after some long walks and touring. The Farm location ensures a peaceful and quiet stay. We will definitely return next time we are in the area, thank you Sue and Gareth……Mike and Jacky
Sue and Gareth are kind and welcoming hosts, making delicious breakfasts. After a day of touring the Cotswolds we felt like we were returning to a warm and cozy home. The property is meticulously kept and because it is an old farmhouse, very charming. This is a great find! We would highly recommend a stay here.
This B+B is charming and comfortable. The building is very old and some floors are wonky, which adds to the charm. The hosts could not be nicer. They remembered everyone's name in our group of 7, and our breakfast preferences. Breakfast was delicious. They made us feel welcome and at home. I real find!
We chose Lowerfield farm after reading past reviews and it’s location to spend time in the Cotswolds. Sue and Gareth are good hosts with a warm welcome and plenty of knowledge of the area. The house is excellent, rooms have all you need and everywhere is clean and well cared for. Nice touch with fresh milk available in the fridge on the first floor.Location is good and in a quiet spot. Breakfast very good. In all highly recommended.
