We stayed 2 nights in late May 2016. The staff was very friendly, especially since we spoke no Dutch, and fed us even though the restaurant was closed. Simple, clean rooms and great restaurant. Great town to walk around as well

Four years after having taken charge of affairs Elisabeth Remmeink, the latest in the founders family line, definitively has made her mark. Everything is spot on and guests immediately feel at home in the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, its bar and restaurant. This hotel is best known for its restaurant and its pleasant atmosphere with a hint of old times, commonly known as "De Krent". Correct service, making one welcome and comfortable. Good food. Nice cozy hotel and restaurant with old Dutch traditions and friendly family atmosphere of rural Holland. Excellent place for weekend with bike or walking around through green forests and fields. I stayed here regularly since 2003 and every next visit brings something new and interesting. This area Achterhoek of Gelderland is full of events: music festivals, flower fairs, cheese markets...
