We had a week at Freeman Farm and bespoke battlefield tour with Gill and Tim during October 2016. Gill and Tim (and their daughter Sam) just couldn't do enough for us and, without doubt, are the best hosts you would ever hope to come across. From the moment Gill picked us up at the train station it felt like we...

We have just spent a week at Freeman's Farm and it was fantastic. Tim and Gill made our stay very memorable and are wonderful hosts. They just couldn't do enough for us. Their daughter Sam was also very helpful and loved a chat. Our room was spacious and had a large ensuite. Gills cooking was five star, with lots of...

Although I have been visiting the Somme for some 20 years now this was the first time I had stayed with Tim and Gill at Freeman Farm but it most definitely will not be the last. They are quite outstanding hosts, making you feel part of the family as every good B&B should do. The spacious rooms are superb; comfortable...

We booked a Battlefield tour and Dinner, Bed and Breakfast stay at Tim and Jill's Freeman Farm. We cannot say enough about how fantastic hosts they are. The accommodation was great and our every need was catered for. The food was exceptional but don't expect to lose weight on this holiday - Jill you are responsible for us being on...

This has been our second visit to Tim and Gills farm, unfortunately for us Gill was in the UK so we were unable to dine in. We stayed for three days with friends, five in all. However, Tim managed extremely well on his own, laying up our early breakfasts which were plentiful. The accommodation is good and Tim's knowledge of...

We stayed at Freeman farm on our first and last night of our holiday in France. Again Gill was more than welcoming, food was up to her usual excellent standard. Relaxed straight away, as if you were coming home. Very clean and hospitable in every way. It is like staying with old friends when you are there. Lovely rural location....

A quiet location in a pretty rural village, this B & B is ideally located for exploring the battle feilds of the Western front. Breakfast was comprehensive and beautifully presented, our hosts were utterly delightful and very knowledgeable about the area. We loved it!! Accessible by train or car. Wonderfully spacious new bathrooms.

We visit the somme twice a year, and Freeman Farm just gets better and better. We chose cycling as our mode of travel while we were there this time and although we experienced first hand Somme mud & rain, it was a great weekend. Helped by the relaxed, friendly atmosphere that Freeman Farm offers. Good times.

Freeman farm was the perfect base and a great refuge at days end - also a great setting in the beautiful little French Village of Miraumont. On the...
