Brilliant! The perfect small spa country hotel. Everything was tasteful, clean and beautifully presented. Lovely room, dreamy bed, spotless bathroom. Food was excellent, service first class from the friendly, attentive staff. Our all-inclusive break was just that, no hidden extras or separate menus. Spa was a wonderful experience, clean, comfortable and relaxing treatments. Really could not fault this lovely hotel,...

Stayed here for a night and had a spa day. It was all lovely. The hotel was quaint, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was of a very good standard. Our room was large had beautiful views of the countryside from the windows and the bed was extremely comfy. The spa is small but still very nice.

Attention to detail is superb, lovely welcoming fires in lounge and bar areas - perfect for a cold weekend in March. The staff were friendly - nothing too much trouble. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and immaculately kept. We stayed in a luxury room (16) in one of the cottages - lovely room with a lounge area off the...

Well appointed room with lovely bathroom. The hotel facilities are excellent - we enjoyed the bar area, the breakfast choice was excellent and delicious. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. We found good local restaurants so didn't eat in but the menu looked nice. The spa was wonderfully relaxing. My wife had a massage and we both enjoyed the smart...

We stayed in bay tree cottage which was gorgeous, everything was thoughtfully arranged and it was quiet. Spa was fantastic, wish we had used it more, staff attentive and friendly. We will definitely go back, the only slight criticism would be dinner, really tiny portions, I asked for chicken and got what looked like the leg and breast of a...

Feeling rather let down by Park House, which failed us in a number of small but telling ways for a family birthday celebration. At prices of over £220 per night (& in the fairly full mid-luxury market where larger brands like Malmaison can offer a similar experience from £110), my experience of small country house hotels is that they win...

We booked this last minute and got a great deal. We booked for the weekend (Friday and Saturday). The location is great - beautiful grounds. Spa was fantastic. I didn't have treatments but the pool, jacuzzi changing rooms etc were clean and beautifully appointed. Our room was lovely, clean and well equipped overlooking the gardens. Food (dinner and breakfast) were...

My son booked us in for a night as a treat and that is what it was. The staff were efficient and welcoming. Our room and bed were very comfortable and met all our needs. The food was exceptional, both dinner and breakfast, However I do think the wine was too expensive. The spa and pool area were very clean and...
