The accommodation is 3km from the Palenque ruins and easily accessible by collectivo into the town centre - $20 peso each way. The cabins are surrounded by jungle which means the mornings and evenings are fraught with the guttural shrieks of the howler monkeys. That alone is worth staying to behold, but when combined with the lovely pool, this place...

We booked "triple room with private bathroom" in May 2016. Actually, it was a small cabana inside a park next Palenque Maya ruins. The room was a really small. We hardly placed a luggage. I found just one electrical socket in the room next to a sink. It was incredibly hot and The lack of conditioner made air unbearably hot....

This was probably my least favorite place to stay in Mexico. It was nice to have a private little cabana, but it was pretty small and I didn't think it was worth the money. They do have a very nice pool, but the bathrooms are kind of dirty so I didn't use the shower. I was in cabin number 12,...

We booked a cabana with private bathroom for one night. Since we arrived really early in the morning with the nightbus we wanted to drop our luggage in the hostel. We arrived there at maybe 8 am and it was no problem to drop our luggage. We asked if it is a locked room. The staff showed us a room...

Compared to similarly priced hotels, this was the worst stay during our 2 weeks in Mexico. The place is very basic, the rooms are very small, there is not much space to leave your stuff. There was only one socket that was not working. The bedsheets were stained and in general the cleanliness standards were not good. The most annoying...

Stayed here for one night only. Premise is located halfway between Palenque and the ruins along with other places such as Jungle Palace. Close to a good restaurant (Don Mucho's). Like: - clean bed and rooms - mosquito nets - very nice pool - very safe atmosphere (reviews which suggest otherwise are outdated I think) Dont like - the staff...

We stayed for one night and that was enough. Half-way through check-in the guy at reception asked if we had a cigarette, when I asked if he was serious he just said "yes" completely deadpan. The whole cabin stank of stale urine. The floor was filthy. There were old blood stains on the sheets and hairs in the bed. There...

Comfortable little place to stay right at the entrance to the Mayan ruins. Some locals stayed there and were partying a little louder than I would've like, but that was it. Hollering monkeys all around the place (up on the trees) added a very nice ambient to my stay

We liked staying in the cabanas. We where a bit afraid about bugs and mosquitos inside of the cabanas bit we had no problems. The restaurant on the other side of the road, don muchos, was great for breakfast and dinner. Wild live including the monkeys howling at night and climbing in the trees was unique! It was hot!!! Close...
