The hotel has lovely new rooms located in a beautiful garden setting. The facilities are immaculate with good TVs, shower, big beds, etc. The pool is large and a nice temperature for November. Breakfast was only average and the food in the restaurant variable. Some fish dishes were excellent but my fish in breadcrumbs was slightly burnt. If eating sit... More

We spent there two nights. Very nice experience. The biggest challenge was to use English. The personals speak just Spanish but we have had nice time. The location is very good and not so far from Palenque pyramids. The breakfast was good with lot of fruits.

As individual travelers we stayed 2 nights; one night in standard-plus room 323 and one night in superior room 103 . 1. The first night we stayed in room 323, on the first floor in a rather new yellow building. That night we have hardly slept because of the neighbors. A Mexican family – a man, two women and two... On first impression this hotel is beautiful and luxurious, and it certainly is in a magical location on the river in the jungle. I had no hot water for 2 days despite asking and the staff saying they would look at it. It's designed for large tour groups, I wouldn't recommend it for solo, couple or small group travellers.

Loved this charming little hotel nestled in the Chiapas jungle. Cute rooms and very nice hotel with nice pool and grounds to stroll around. Good food and service at the restaurant. Cows and howling monkeys woke me up in the early morning and you get the jungle fever. The perfect pit-stop when you're planning on visiting Yaxchilan the next morning.

The location was isolated, but the grounds and the river were beautiful. They keep the grounds very clean. The rooms were spacious, but the bathrooms were outdated. The food was not one of their strong points. The staff at the reception desk were very friendly.

We stayed here for one night on a 28 day Central America trip. The hotel is conveniently located near to the Mayan ruins in Palenque. We were kindly offered a cold and very welcome drink on arrival. Check in was efficient. A large chalet style room with 2 double beds. TV with only a few channels and non in English.... More

We recently stayed here for a few days and really enjoyed it. The rooms we had were clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and the pool was a life-saver for kids after a long hot day walking around the ruins. We also used this place to go to Bonampak (we drove there and back in our own car... We stayed as hotel as part of our tour of Mexico, the location was next to a river and it was very scenic. The hotel was clean but the décor was very brown (tiles, paint etc.) it needs refurbishment, it is just tired looking. We had to pre-order our breakfast the night before, only to be asked what we wanted... More

I stayed at the Hotel Nututun Palenque in mid-March 2015 for a 1-night stay, enroute from visiting the archaeological site of Palenque before continuing towards San Cristóbal de las Casas the following day, on the fourth stage of my 18-day 'Mysteries of the Maya' holiday operated by Voyages Jules Verne. For such a VERY short stay this hotel (we arrived... More
