We spent two nights here as part of a tour. Our room was plain and lacking in character but clean and comfortable. Staff were obliging. The hotel was in a quiet street surrounded by other hotels. We were advised not to walk anywhere at night.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and i really liked it. It is near to the "city " and within a 5 minute walk you can catch a bus to the arecheological Mayan citiy Palenque. The rooms are clean and big.The staff is very nice and next to the hotel you find a lot of restaurants.

We spent 2 nights here and found it to be a good choice for our trip. The room was lovely and clean, spacious and cool - with both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The staff were friendly and helpful. As others mentioned staff had limited English but this wasn't a problem for us even though our Spanish isn't great....

I enjoyed staying here even though the surrounding area was a little bit artifical. If I went again then I would prefer to stay closer to the ruins as it is this area we headed to for dinner both nights (Don Mucho). We had 24 hours of solid rain here too, even though it was the dry season, so it...

I've stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The hotel staff was very nice to check me in as I unexpectedly arrived in the early morning around 6am. No additional charge. It's a perfect base for Palenque explore as well as heading to Tikal. Given the price, it's a very good deal. Below is the Pro and Cons. Pro: 1....

We used this hotel for 1 night on our way to San Cristobal and one night on the way back. It was quite nice and exceeded our expectations. The staff are really very charming. Not sure if they speak much English but they are willing to speak slowly to you in Spanish if you are not fluent & you should...

It is not a luxury hotel, but it is a great base for seeing the ruins. It is clean and comfortable and within walking distance from lots of nice places to eat in the town itself, which you will not get staying in one of the more expensive hotels on the way to ruins. The service was friendly, and the...

Dont know why this place has so many great reviews! Massively overpriced, although admittedly it was last minute in high season. The restaurant food was overpriced, and utterly soul-less. As a hotel it was fine, nothing special. Aircon in room, spacious room, but few facilities. Clean and comfortable without excess - again fairly soul-less. So, a fine enough hotel if...

We arrived at 6.45am off the bus and already our room of 210 was ready for us to check in and shower before our day visiting the sights. Set amidst the hotel tourist groups of about 6 others this shone out to me as the best. Clean, smart, friendly and good rooms. Nice spacious rooms, good facilities, lovely staff.
