The views from the Veranda are stunning. You can see all the way across the hills down to Sandy Bay. The cottage is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Tucked away from everything, a place you can truly relax.

I can't speak highly enough of this place, if you want to escape the internet-facebook-twitter-automobile world and just watch the sun rise, rest and hike. This is a truly great place for those who want to get away from it all. The view from the cabin is spectacular, looking down over rolling hills to the ocean. Easy hiking right out...

I had an very pleasant Christmas in Pipit Cottage at Kairuru Farm. It was a sweet little Wooden Cottage 2 bedrooms with a little verandah out the front looking at the "OMG" Views down to the Tasman Bay and Marahau and across to Durville Island. I loved the farm animals on the other side of the fence sheep, and cows,...

Cottages are on a working sheep farm. Stunning views over Abel Tasman park to the sea. Secluded - you open and close a few gates to get to your cottage. Cottage was spacious and well maintained. Owners were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed meeting the sheep dogs. Only disappointment was that the "friendly" sheep in the paddocks next to the...

My wife and I were on a rather unplanned 25 odd day NZ South to North driving vacation. I had heard a lot about Abel Tasman, and wanted to stay there. I found this place because she wanted a farmstay. Sadly, I saw only 4 reviews so was a little skeptical. So, I booked a cottage for a night at...

We stayed here for Christmas and it proved to be an excellent choice. We were a family of 4 adults travelling together and the cottage was very spacious with 2 lovely bedrooms, a huge open plan living room/ dining area/ kitchen. The views from the garden, where there is a picnic bench, are amazing. The owners were very welcoming even...

We spent three nights at Kairuru Farm staying in Kea Cottage in mid-February. The cottage was spacious and well-equipped, with a paddock of sheep right beside it. There were also lots of paths around the farm where we could walk among the animals. Unfortunately, it was not an option to have a tour of the whole farm, which was too...

We stayed 2 nights at Pippit cottage with 2 young children. They enjoyed watching the sheep and cows in the paddocks that surrounded us. Kitchen was ample and the only thing I missed was a better knife and the previous guest missed washing up some of the crockery. Might be useful to know you have to open and shut a few...

This was an absolutely beautiful place with spectacular views. The owner was very nice and extremely helpful with local knowledge. The price was very reasonable and the only warning I would have is that it didn't have the best heating system to cope with the winter temperatures. Otherwise, it was wonderfully equipped.
