My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. The lodge has beautiful grounds. It was so cool to wake up to the sound of bird calls. The cabin we stayed at was very clean and roomy. We spent many hours relaxing on the porch. The pool was lovely. The staff was so...

We stayed at the lodge while conducting a medical/water safety training class for H2O terra staff in early October. The staff at the lodge is top notch on every level. They are personable honest and beyond accommodating with little to no effort on the guests part. 10 stars given on a 5 star scale. The setting is one that novelists...

We had taken a driving tour from Placencia down to Punta Gorda for lunch and needed to get back further north before finding a place to rest for the night. We saw the sign on the road and asked some locals who pointed us down the country lane. Oh my! It took asking a few more along the short way...

We stayed for two nights in August. The Lodge arranged our airport pick up at Punta Gorda and took us from the airport to the Cacao/chocolate Farm. The Cacao farm was fun and very interesting- we shelled cocoa beans and ground them into chocolate paste then got to try the 100% cacao. We stayed in the air conditioned wooden cabanas...

Many thanks for taking the time to review your stay. Your advice about the air-conditioned cabanas is useful at this time of year when humidity is higher even though the rain cools the temperature. So glad that you enjoyed the food at the lodge. We will pass on your comments to our kitchen staff. They appreciate guests' feedback. The transfer...

Awesome bungalows that are setup to ensure both great views and privacy. They have a lot charm while providing all the amenities of home. While internet is not available in the rooms it is available in the main lodge. The river was high while we were there so we were not able to go tubing, however it was the perfect...

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge at Big Falls for nine nights during our recent trip to Punta Gorda. We were putting on a summer camp for kids and needed a place to stay near Silver Creek Village. We could not have picked a better place. Rob, the proprietor, and Steven, the tour guide, ensured our stay was...

Can't say enough great things about this beautiful lodge that is off the beaten path near Toledo, Belize! My husband, our 2 teen sons, and I had an amazing vacation here over Christmas break, 2015. The owner Rob was helpful, kind, and a joy to talk over a drink each day during happy hour in the lodge. The whole staff...

Many thanks for taking the time to review your stay at the lodge. We have shared it with our staff who really do appreciate your feedback. Steven appreciated your kind comment but is pretty sure he still has lots to learn but you are correct about his expert birding knowledge and skills. Belize is a wonderful country with so many...

We weren't sure what to expect, but the lodge and its offerings were top-notch, especially our guide Stephen for various adventures. He had extensive knowledge of Mayan history, local families, plant and animal species, and leading us amateurs through a rain forest. The cottage where were stayed was simple and very comfortable with adjustable air-conditioning. The Lodge even has it's...
