Have no hesitation recommending the Casa Pistani to anyone wanting to tour the Ferrara - Medena - Bologna - Ravenna area. Clean quiet comfortable and well located just 15 minute drive from Ferrara. Madame Pistani was very helpful recommending restaurants and sites to visit in the area. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed here for a week last July, and we absolutely loved the place! We have travelled a lot in Italy, but this is the B&B we remember the most. The lady of the house - La Signora Pistani - is a wonderful sophisticated lady, who will do anything to make your stay unforgettable. We initially planned to stay for...

Signora Pistani and her eponymous Casa Pistani provided the perfect location from which to explore Emilia Romagna and Tuscany.  Approximately half way between Florence and Venice, we stayed here and made day trips to Florence, Venice and the numerous picturesque surrounding towns and villages.  Our room was spacious and comfortable and Signora Pistani was charming and accommodating of our requests....

Google translator is not always sufficient. Our room was clean but sparse with 2 small single beds & a shared bathroom. It was not explained this was the only room available that night. Breakfast was very good. The recommended nearby restaurant was not open that night & there are few to choose from! We had to ask another guest about how...

Dear Diane We are very sorry for what you write. We would just like to add that your reservation (made with VENERE.com) was clear: a shared bathroom and a room with 2 beds. We just prepared what you have booked. Unfortunately, the restaurants have their schedules and we have no power over them. Sorry if you found it closed. For...

Our stay at Casa Pistani was delightful and very warming. Serena, our host, was so helpful and friendly and made our short stay a highlight of our trip. Her home made cake of a morning was a "hit" at breakfast. Everything was perfect. Our room had a shared bathroom but this was not a problem at all. Our room was...

We stayed at Casa Pistini on 5th April 2012. We booked a room with an outside bathroom and were not sure what to expect. We need not have worried. On arrival the lady of the house came out to meet us with an umbrella as it was raining. Once inside we were introduced to a very helpful young man who...

We stayed 5 nights in Casa Pistani last summer (july 2010). The Bed and Breakfast is located in the countryside near Ferrara, so you will definitely need a car. But the town itself is not far away and you can reach it quite easily...The same applies also for the beaches, some 50 kilometres away..and the Parco Delta del Po, Padova...

Only a few miles outside the beautiful city of Ferrara, although we also visited the Po Delta, Bologna, San Marino, Ravenna and Modena on day trips via the excellent motorway links. Modernised farmhouse but retaining many period features and set on the edge of open fields. Our room was spacious and clean, and although simply furnished, was very comfortable. The...

Lovely Italian bed and breakfast. Very large rooms nicely furnished. Clean, large private bathrooms. The home is an immaculate, rustic country farm house and well situated. We used it for a base to visit Venice, Verona and Ferrara. All can be easily done in a day. The breakfast was traditional and adequate. There are restaurants and little stores nearby in...
