This is beachfront hotel with a magnificent view of the ocean. The hotel has two pools and your own mini pool off of your patio, if you’ve booked a room facing the ocean. I would recommend reviewing the hotel website. There are a couple of negatives with this hotel but the positives outweigh them. The negatives are as follows, none of the rooms have a mini fridge, the hotel policy is no outside food or drinks if you’re caught you could be assessed a financial penalty. The bathroom door in our room was old as was the mirror they need to be replaced. The positives are as follows, seven restaurants onsite, security at front entrance, front desk staff are very friendly, house keeping does a fantastic job, the pools are excellent as was our mini pool. In the morning you get up open the patio door and jump in your mini pool. The grounds keeps do a fantastic job. The servers in the restaurant are very nice. Food is excellent at this restaurant. We had a minor issue that was taken care of by Stef, she was fantastic and we really want to express our gratitude to her for coming to our assistance. Thank you Stef. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely seaside location close to town. Killer restaurants ( not cheap) nice rooms and great staff. Movie night and entertainment on the beach night fun. Cons: swimming a challenge at this beach. No drinks/ food from outside allowed even on your own patio! No fridges and no information about town in the lobby or front desk. Ie no tour info etc. I asked if there was a dive shop nearby and they didn’t know. It was bloody next door! No classes of any sort. You can purchase a day pass and use the facilities but stay elsewhere. A block away rooms are $75.

Customer service, restaurants and cleaningnes of the hotel are amazing. Rooms are a bit limited in lighting in the bathroom. No mini refrigerator nor drawers in the rooms. Room I chose was not the one I got. Can't say I'll stay again.

Good spot for a short break. Rooms are on the smaller side - we had a delux king with private plunge pool. Pools are lovely. There are several restaurants on site. Breakfasts are good. Snacks and bar food are ok with a very much sea food theme (there are some none sea food choices though). Everything is slightly fancier than it needs to be eg. they do simple cochinita pilbil tacos for breakfast but you can’t have them with a drink at lunchtime, you can’t just order a bowl of guoc and chips etc. also the restaurants are super expensive. In particular the wine is marked up 10x. Nice cocktails though and much more reasonably priced. Also worth saying the food in Otto and in Rústica is very good. The hotel is kind of isolated- you’d need taxis to honk to town so they have a captive audience. Nevertheless good for a few days.

Although it is really not nearly a 5 star hotel we have given it a 5 star rating for the following.... We do not like staying in all inclusive properties, as we find the food plentiful but not really great....(okay if you have kids...but not great for couples...) so we started our stay in Huatulco in a very small property that had great ratings and great pictures (the review will come later!).... when we got there my spouse looked at me, and I looked at her.....and we both thought the same thing....that it sure didn't look like that place that we thought we were going to be staying at!!! So, around midnight that night I told her.....we are out of here.... the next morning, we told the manager that we had an emergency and had to leave.....we bid goodbye (forfeiting our prepaid week)...and headed for the Quinta Bella...and received a pleasant surprise. On the beach....not a crowded beach....GREAT restaurants....each room had a little splash pool on the patio...nice staff...Quinta Bella saved our week. The rooms are not 4 or 5 star....but it is what it is... it is a beach hotel...the rooms are more than adequate, but you can't beat the location or the restaurants anywhere else in Huatulco... I will write a review of the first place where we stayed after I see if I can get part of my $$$ back!

The wife and I are just back from 1 week at the Q/B. We found it to be a very beautiful hotel on a very nice piece of beachfront property, but it also needs some attention in some areas. Also it is a family resort so expect some kids running around ! Here are the pros and cons through our eyes.... PROS, beautiful setting, location, sunrises, and the grounds were immaculate. the decor in the rooms and outside at pool area was beautiful too the staff were very friendly, attentive and alot of fun beach and pool chairs always seemed available (very few if any chair hogs here) awesome beach with good snorkeling in the rocky corner great wifi throughout the resort , even on the beach beers were great ( one of the few things we found affordable) CONS, meal prices were very steep in most restaurants ( too much so, bring lots of $$ ) noise really traveled through the rooms, doors, hallways, etc. no fridge in room, and drinking water minimal, had to keep asking for more bed was extremely firm ( imagine sleeping on a pool table ) pillows were horrible too 2 worn out bath towels and a bath mat per room, no face cloths or anything else beach and pool chairs plentiful, but very uncomfortable We did really love our stay and the experience, however we think it is more like a 3.5 star hotel with 4.5 star prices. A few small improvements would go along way !!

Everything the other reviewers said is true. Beautiful view, small, nice hotel. Towels are grey and threadbare, tile in bathroom is mildewed. Our bathroom door looked as though it had been thru a flood, door was disintegrating. First two nights we had a ground floor pool room that smelled like a sewer. Moved to an upstairs pool room finally and it was fine. Clean, private pool.. Yes they were doing construction from 7 am on but it didn’t bother us. Pool servers (Juan) are exceptional. Prices are exceptionally good all over the hotel. The people who complained must not travel often as food was very inexpensive.

The Hotel has a great setting on the Beachfront, with a nice pool and infinity pool overlooking the beach. The Hotel has a strange layout & if being built now would undoubtedly be very different. The big pros are the location on the beach & the pool areas & the bar / restaurant which overlooks the beach. The Hotel have a number of Restaurants which are well regarded, however most are tucked away in the Hotel without a view & feel more like Dining Rooms than nice Restaurants, however the food was very good. The balconies are also very close together with no privacy & therefore when you are out there you are right next to your neighbour. The staff were all great, food and drink very good and location and pool area superb. I would recommend this Hotel & it represented good value for money

I went with a small group of friends and we stayed a week. While we all had a nice time, it's difficult to give a simple rating. This hotel has some huge advantages - it is small, quiet (with the exception of the construction during the week), the food and beverage staff are very friendly, attentive and well trained, and the restaurants are all very good (don't miss the avocado toast for breakfast!). The pools are nice, the grounds are well kept and beach area is lovely. It's a convenient location. And there is a certain charm which is welcoming and easy. There are also areas in need of improvement - the towels are gray, stained and old, and i wondered if they were actually clean. It was like drying off after a shower with a sheet. The hair dryer fell off the wall when I was using it. The single lock on the door knob is not adequate - someone mistook my room for theirs and tried to get in late at night which was a bit alarming since I was alone. I had a second floor room with a splash pool that didn't have water in it for two days in spite of alerting management about it. The outdoor lounge chairs are very uncomfortable and unless you choose to spend your days in them, there is no place else to sit outside. My bed was very comfortable but my friends all had hard and uncomfortable mattresses. Lighting in the bathroom was horrible and the tile in my shower was badly stained - I wasn't sure if it was dirty or if it was mold I was seeing. And lastly, the pillows on the bed were horrible - cut up pieces of foam crammed into a pillow case, and hard as a rock. I brought my own pillow and was glad I did. It's an old property but it wouldn't take much to bring it up to speed. We weren't expecting a 5 star hotel, but wanting newer and clean towels, comfortable lounge chairs and more secure locks on room doors shouldn't be asking too much. We will return to Huatulco next year but debating if we will stay here again. Having read other reviews, i see there are a number of people with the same comments. I hope management responds to them.

This is the first time we stayed here and I think we lucked out. Pluses: service, room cleanliness, restaurants are best in the area, great views, great pools! Comfort, service, food Minuses: everyone agrees on a few things that are easily addressed.. towels are horrible, grey and old; bed pillows also grey and old..lights in bathroom not bright enough at night take care of these things and would give it 5 stars! We enjoyed ourselves
