Stayed with my other half for one night in The Retreat on 28.8.16 for a much-needed break. The suite is furnished and decorated to a high standard of comfort and the owner has thought of everything you could possibly need. And the nicest breakfast we've ever had. We loved everything about it and left well-rested. Perfect.

We found Pheasant Lodge on line and booked for a couple of nights. What a wonderful surprise we had when we arrived. Quiet and just off the beaten track, a real haven from the madding crowd. The Lodge was all we could hope for in a self-contained chalet, with facilities for four and plenty of room for four as well.... More

What a lovely review from a very delightful couple. The Lodge is very popular with guests who prefer a little more space and the option of having a double bed each. This also suits friends travelling together. Both beds have just been fitted with new electric mattress covers for an extra snug nights sleep . Although the Lodge has room... More

I had arranged with Lynda prior to going that I wanted to propose to my partner and Lynda was more than happy to help... It... More

Me and my boyfriend stay in pheasants lodge for his birthday. It was so lovely. They think of all the little things, really make you feel at home. We had cake left on the side, milk in the fridge and freshly picked plums too. Breakfast was amazing, would definitely recommend having it! Lovely for any occasion X

Wow wow wow. What a beautiful place! Such a wonderful romantic getaway. The apartment is immaculate (literally the cleanest place I've ever stayed - the bathroom fixings looked brand new, I need to know what products they use!!) , so well equipped and that bathroom - what can I say we didn't want to get out! If you are looking... More
