I really like staying at this hotel because the facilities and the staff are so good. The bulb had blown in my bedside lamp and they came and fixed it pronto. The room overlooked Panmure Basin lagoon, which was lovely, even when the tide was out. There is easy access to the walking track around the lagoon, great for your...

This is a great hotel and very close to shopping amenities for eg. Sylvia Park. This is a shopping mall with great options. The hotel rooms are nice but the best attraction is the Panmure lake which is immediately next to it. It is a great walking/ jogging area and the lake circumference is 2.2kms. The hotel staffs are nice...

There for a large Rotary training event. Lots of great facilities for large and small groups. Room was spacious and well presented. Lovely view onto an inlet with a walking track round the edge. Food was good. Staff friendly. Not too far from the airport. Was told it was near the Sylvia Park shopping centre but did not get time...

I spent 3 days on conference with a few hundred guests. I accommodated us very easily. Meals were healthy. Function rooms had huge variety in sizes as options. Ate in main restaurant 2x with buffet. This was very nice, enough options without overloading. Nice outlook from all rooms out to tidal lagoon. Air conditioning in function room met expectations. Might...

This is a comfortable mid-priced hotel in an industrial zone of Auckland but the setting which verges on a large lake is pleasant. It is a convivial place. The rooms are adequate, the staff are competent, the dining room is open when you’d expect to be. The menu will not dazzle you: there is not a single unexpected element in...

We needed somewhere to stay on our last night before flying out of Auckland. This was the only hotel near the airport that wasn't ridiculously expensive. Due to several events on this weekend, there wasn't much to choose from. We took the last room. It was really clean, quiet and the food was above average for a buffet. Just what...

Staff are bright and cheerful, they go that extra mile to make you feel welcome. Even though the location to my head office makes the Waipuna the obvious choice it is also my Hotel of choice when not on business. I stay in Hotels all over NZ but this one is always like coming home.

The Waipuna has been there for many years, I find it a great place to stay as it is quiet and offers easy access away from Auckland CBD. The staff are very friendly, there is great dinning and a very pleasant bar area to relax in.

Stayed two nights. Setting is simply gorgeous and watching the changes to the tidal mudflats was a lot of fun. Bedroom was very comfortable but the louvre windows meant you got lots of people noise from the garden areas. Lovely amenities in the bathroom but shower handle and showerhead both a bit tired. Was in the restaurant for 4 meals...

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our Hotel. Unfortunately due to some urgent maintenance repairs to our roof, we had to remove the air conditioning unit. This has resulted in the restaurant being without an air conditioner for a few days. To keep the temperature in the restaurant at a reasonable level we...
