Four friends, myself included, spent one week at Quickenberry. We checked everywhere and it is undoubtedly the best accommodation in Canterbury. Close to all the club fields, Mt Hutt and heli skiing. The rooms are spacious, warm and extremely well furnished. The common area is a large living area with fireplace and vaulted ceiling. The food has been extraordinary, Robert...

My parents, my brother and our partners had an absolutely incredible stay at Quickenberry Lodge for my parent's 40th wedding anniversary celebration. The location is perfect; approximately 1h from Christchurch International Airport and 20 mins from the ski town of Methven. The hosts Christine and Robert made us feel so welcome and were exceptionally attentive at all times. The rooms...

I enjoyed an overnight stay with Robert and Christine the hosts at Quickenberry. A lovely experience characterised by accomodating and warm people. I was attending a wedding at the adjacent Terrace Downs Golf Resort and happened upon a review by a friend of Quickenberry. Such a shame I didn't get to experience the award winning cuisine of Robert the night...
