The hotel is ideally centrally located on the seafront with a number of rooms with sea view. The rooms are clean and comfortable and relatively quiet. Breakfast is quite good. Staff were very nice and helpful. They allowed me store my road bike inside in an office, which I really appreciated. Special thanks to Marina for that.

I needed a cheap-ish room to overnight in Sitia before taking a ferry the next morning. Elysee seemed to tick all the boxes and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is just 5-10 minutes from the bus stop and in a great location on the harbour front, with cafes, tavernas and shops on the doorstep. My room was surprisingly large and the balcony offered a great view overlooking the harbour. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was decent, if not great, but for €45 I wouldn't complain. The only small downside is that larger ferries depart from the port further west, so it was a slightly further walk than expected (15 minutes) but not really a problem.

Yet another lovely visit to Sitia staying at Elysee, ideally located on the harbour. Stunning views and friendly and helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms, we stayed in 401, the bathroom had been refitted to a good standard. This room has minimum facilities for self catering, although there are no cooking rings.

Wonderful location on the harbour front of this Greek coastal town. Ideally situated for a short stroll to the Tavernas and bars and to watch the fishing boats come and go. The room was very adequate and was good value for money. The bathroom had been modernised and was well appointed. I would strongly recommend booking a sea view room at the front of the hotel.

So lovely to return to the Elysee after two years. My experience was as good as the first time here. I particularly love the balconies in nearly all the rooms with washing drying facilities, some with sea/harbour views directly outside the hotel, and the fridges in the rooms. The shower head and shower in my room was probably due for an upgrade soon, but everything was absolutely spotless everywhere in the hotel. Lovely white fabric tablecloths on the breakfast tables and the same wide range of tastes for breakfast. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Marina was kind enough to arrange car hire for me with a recommended company who were excellent. Highly recommended and often booked out so book early!

We stayed overnight at the Elysee during a visit to the bottom end of Crete The is plenty of free parking at the back of the hotel The location is fantastic our view of the harbour was outstanding and you are right in the middle of the town The Hotel itself is in need of some TLC the room was acceptable but basic and not great Breakfast was good and the staff friendly. On a final note the Taverna downstairs made plenty of noise until the early hours so not ideal if your after a quiet night

Comfortable bed in a soulless hotel. Good balcony and views of the harbour couldn’t be beaten. The room and bathroom very clean. The breakfast was served in a clean dining room but the coffee was served luke warm from pots that leaked all over the tablecloth when trying to pour. We were served cake and bread, hard boiled eggs, cheese and ham. It was passable but not a pleasant experience. There is private parking at the back of the hotel. 50E in November double room so a good price
