Very nice, clean and welcoming hotel at the foot of Mount Canin. Really excellent location 100 meters from the ski slopes. The rooms are spacious and clean as is the bathroom, comfortable bed. Possibility to put your skis and boots in the hotel ski room which can only be accessed with a personal key. Good and varied breakfast with the possibility of also having dishes made in the kitchen. We didn't try the restaurant but the bar is also open after dinner so there is the possibility of spending moments in company. The spa is excellent, very refined and really well maintained with a table with drinks and herbal teas. Truly an excellent hotel with an excellent quality-price ratio, I will certainly return as Sella Nevea is a real jewel half an hour from Tarvisio, Austria and Slovenia.

This hotel has seen better times in terms of amount of visitors. It is just the fact that the entire area is not really visited a lot during the summer despite it is great place to visit.
The hotel has been partly refurbished, the rooms are nice and cosy. Service is friendly and food in the restaurant as well. They also have nice new spa area.
I would recommend the hotel if you are planning to stay for few days to do some hikes in the near by mountains.

Consigliatissimo! Beautiful atmosphere and great sense of hospitality from the managers and all the staff. Very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant, very good dishes, delicious home made dumplings. Even the meat dishes have satisfied our palates. Bravo

We were in Sella Nevea hotel Canin during the few days in February 2019. The hotel is nice - maybe somebody will not agree with me. The hotel is not to big, but we feel very good. We are family - 4 people, we had a big room with small balcony. All what we need we had. The restaurant is nice and food was really good. Thanks for very welcome staff. Really good place for skiing holiday.

If you want to feel home, than it's the place. Built in the late sixties in a snowy and little valley in the north east of Italy, the hotel is as you may expect it, nothing special aesthetically but clean and warm, not only as warmed but soul warm due to the owners whom are friendly people, polite and really able to make yourself feel home. I've been here for a couple of nights, along with my wife and son, with us also my sister my nixes and brother in law. All of us have been really satisfied, the strength point is the kitchen, everything cooked like at home and moreover home and handmade, it was a discovery even if we usually go there for a fast lunch every Saturday, in the last two years in wintertime, before the ski course of our sons. Go there if you want to forget stress and work for some time. I also suggest you to try the Canin Track with your skis, but you need to be a little more than a rookie.

We were there end of summer as nearly the only guests. Basic hotel with very helpful staff. Beautiful surroundings and a good place also for summer vacations. Trivisio is half an hour away and a good shopping stop. Austria is near as well as sLOVENIA.
Hotel is quite basic; no chair next to working desk. Good beds; no airco. Breakfast is excellent with eggs to order - cheese and lots of sweet stuff

Went to Sella Nevea for ski last December, but only man-made snow. Best location of hotel, around the area. I think this is the only hotel that can ski in/out. Room is basic. Service is good. Breakfast is good. Parking just outside the hotel.

absolutly great food, prepared with love. nice waiters which are always friendly and take care on your wishes. rooms were really nice with new bathrooms and the hotel is really clean.
we made also our wedding party there and i would do it again! they prepared everything with love and we had a perfect party!

We spent one night here on our trip through Italy and it sounded like a bargain. The room was nice and calm, Sella Nevea is ok during summer. But the staff was not interested in helping us: We were only offered some junk food at 9pm (which wasn't tasty). naaaah...

The hotel has great location at the slopes. Skiing is limited at the moment due to closed area in Slovenia :( the rooms are small and a bit "worn out", but bathrooms are clean and new! Service staff is friendly. Kitchen offers nice selection of Italian food at dinner but breakfast has some bits to improve (only black tea available, no dark bread, cheap packed jam, missing fruit/healthy choice. The waitress Adina was providing excellent service and thanks to her we had really great time ;) I hope there will be a spa option in the hotel next year.
