We visited on a late September Thursday. Restaurant was quiet. We had the set meal at 25 euros. A good menu, complemented by some well chosen specials "du jour". Goat cheese with smoked salmon was very good and tasty. It was really well presented, setting the theme for the evening. Our main courses were sirloin steak with Roquefort sauce and lamb with a garlic sauce, both with a selection of vegetables. Both choices were really tasty. For dessert, we had pavlova with raspberry sorbet, and apple tarte tatin with ice cream - again both very tasty and so well presented. Service was friendly and efficient. For the past 4 years when holidaying in the Region (2 weeks each time) The Auberge de la Tour in Valros has been our favourite restaurant by far and we generally eat there at least 6 times with friends during our stay.
The food is delicious and very good value value for money with a choice of several set menus. They also have a good selection of wines and if red is your tipple try their wine from the Domaine de Roquessols great wine at a good price.
Lastly the service is excellent and the staff friendly and very helpful and we wish the Restaurant
continued deserved success.
We are looking forward to catching up with our many friends on our next holiday in the lovely Languedoc.

Pleasantly surprised. For a small town restaurant this location provides VG cuisine. Enjoyed evening with friends. Pre dinner amuse bouche of salmon and sun dried tomatoes was tasty. Our shrimp and smoked salmon appetizer was a treat. My wife's pork dish was perfectly grilled and seasoned. My faux filet was a small portion but grilled as requested -rare. The owner/waitress was very "business-like" and not engaged with customers at all. Given this small town "out-if-the-way" location, this restaurant was a pleasant surprise.

A little gem. Great French food and a wonderful ambience. Friendly staff and very good for group functions but also good for small groups and couples. The food is fresh and well presented and the flavours are superb

Called for dinner mid week, a la carte available, but chose the €23 menu with good choices on all courses. Very well cooked food and an enjoyable evening. Excellent value for money and a good choice for business travellers with its easy motorway access

Some 20 years ago we come to Valros regularly and often ate in the Auberge La Tour. On our visit this year we were pleasantly surprised to experience a still excellent cooking and a pleasant service. As in the past we can still warmly recommend the La Tour in Valros.

we passed there already several times on our way to Spain. we love the atmosphere, the pool, the setting and the restaurant (especially the dinner). rooms are simple and clean. bathrooms are dated.

We have been coming to this hotel for 4 years I can honestly say in my opinion its heaven. The ambience makes for a relaxing break, lovely pool, shade, clean rooms and most of all excellent food! The staff and owner's Philippe and Madeline run a fine establishment we just love it and will return next year.

We went to the restaurant which is part of the Hotel for lunch. Great value 2 course lunch including wine for E13.50. Atmosphere was nice and staff were very attentive. They only speak French though but worth the effort. I have tried to add this as a restaurant as it is quite separate from the Hotel but was not listed as a restaurant in Valros.

An extensive menu. Plus an excellent Menu du Jour at very reasonable prices. A good wine list. The service is good by very friendly, happy staff. My friends and I had very well cooked and presented food. This is the second time I have been there and would go there again.
