We stayed for 2 nights this week and were greeted with coffee and biscuits. An old cottage with lots of charm and Simon is an excelent host. The room has everything you want, even some things you might normally take yourself. Breakfast is tasty with a good choice. Lots of nice extra touches. Be careful driving down the lane, if... More

We are so glad you enjoyed your brief stay and hope you return when the weather is a little warmer and hopefully the Chequers in Laddingford is still running their Sausage Night on a Thursday evening. More

Me and my fiancee stayed here in December for my birthday weekend. The hospitality from Simon and Sandie was superb, the breakfasts lovely, the room was everything we could ask for. Can recommend the Castle Inn for dinner, the steak was probably the best we have had and Simon picked us up which was very kind of him. On the... More

Excellent communication and support. Such a friendly welcome with tea and time to chat. Immaculate cottage and lovely en suite room. What more could you want? The cottage is in the country with views, quiet nights. Good places to eat nearby. We will return.

My husband and I stayed here last month. It's a lovely restored cottage with a well-tended garden, and June when we were there was the perfect time to enjoy it, because the flowers were beautiful. The cottage is in a quiet location, at the end of a lane, adjacent to a large apple orchard. We had a nice room and... More

We stayed for one night at Hononton cottage when we attended a friends party close by. from start to finish Simon and his partner Sanndie made it a lovely experience from start to finish. The room was beautiful with a side entrance and lovely comfy bed. But the little extras like some chocolates in the room, a flask of sherry... More

A beautiful cottage in a lovely location with everything you could ever need or want provided! Very comfortable, clean and a delicious breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Simon - including emailing me to tell me I had left a charger behind before I had missed it, and posting it back to me so it reached me before my... More

Simply the best 5* B&B we have EVER stayed at - you have to experience it. Quality, friendliness, luxury, detail, Michelin-style breakfast, relaxed, comfortable , great location for a rural retreat. Every detail thoughtfully catered for better than any 5* hotel. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Simon.

We are flattered to read your review, particularly the reference to Michelin-style breakfast. Having never experienced one it is difficult to comment. We simply use the best produce available locally from sausages to free range eggs where we know the chickens by name! We look forward to welcoming you back and hope we can maintain our standards - no pressure! More

We would like to give at least 6 stars, but only 5 are possible! A loveley Cottage in a peaceful landscape. There is really nothing you miss in the rooms (including the sherry). Simon is a very attentive host. He makes a rich, tasty breakfast with momemade jams and marmelades. Delecious! Many beautifull gardens, the nice City of Royal Tunbridge... More
