This is a heaven among B&Bs. Fiona and Simon are really nice people who care about your absolute great stay. It was our second stay at the Rumblie. We had the same room which is really nice and cosy (Garva Bridge). You can have hot chocolate/tea/coffee with Fiona's superb shortbread (the best we have ever eaten) in your room (kettle...

Thank you for your lovely review. It was so nice to see you both again and welcome you with the famous shortbread. We hope you had a good time on Islay and enjoyed all the distilleries. We look forward to seeing you on another trip to Scotland. Thank you again for taking the time to review us, it means a...

While driving thru Scotland I was looking for a place to sleep, a road sign lead me to the Rumblie guest house. The welcome was very friendly, the host took me to the available room straight away, I'd really appreciated that you can have a chance to see where you sleep before booking. The room looked excellent! So was the...

Thank you for your lovely review. We are both so pleased to know how much you enjoyed your stay with us. Trust the toothache passed and that you visited Dalwhinnie Distillery as you had planned to do. Thank you again for taking the time to do a review as it is very much appreciated by us.

Stayed for 1 night while walking the East Highland Way & The Rumblie is right on the route of the way. It was a great place to stay & particularly well equipped for walkers. The twin room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a large en-suite. Lots of nice extra's like home made shortbread in room. The guest lounge...

Very good B&B on a quiet location in the middle of the Highlands. The place to go for all Monarch of the Glenn fans. The owners are very friendly and offer great advice. The room was excellent, big, with all aminities. There are no restaurants in the village, so it's best to eat dinner too, which was good.

Highly recommended. Simon & Fiona were wonderful hosts. As well as good stories and news about the locality, wonderful food carefully sourced from local farmers, and a very comfortable guest house, they were most accommodating to our early start for an 11 hour day out in the mountains.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. So pleased you enjoyed your stay with us, shame the weather did not allow more time out on the hills, but there can be a return visit. Your 11 hour day was no bother at all...you kept us informed (when phone signal allowed) and ensuring there was a meal waiting...

This was our luxury accomodation while walking the East Highland Way and was worth every penny. Beautifully decorated, clean and tidy with excellent hosts in Simon and Fiona who have a wealth of knowledge relating to food, drink and local places of interest. The 4 ' Ayrshire Waysters ' enjoyed a delicious well presented evening meal with 'A Taste of...

It was our pleasure to welcome the "Aryshire Waysters" to stay here at The Rumblie after your long walk from Tulloch....it's a long hard section we know. So pleased to know that you enjoyed our "Taste of Scotland" starter and the rest of Dinner. Hope the rest of the East Highland Way went well and that Glen Banchor was not...

We arrived here early and unannounced on day 2 of walking the East Highland Way. Fiona could not have been kinder, we were hoping to drop our packs and amuse ourselves until check-in, instead we were ushered straight in to our spotless, well stocked twin room. The shower was enormous with lots of hot water. Our evening meal was good,...

Thank you for your lovely review. It was our pleasure to welcome you and your early arrival was no problem at all to us, much better to be comfortable & welcome rather than spend the day in the rain. Delighted to know how much you enjoyed the evening meal. Hope the rest of the East Highland Way worked out well...

Have just returned from a very wet and windy walking weekend. The trip, as a consequence of the weather could have been a complete disaster. Thankfully we chose to stay with Fiona and Simon at their fantastic home and they made the entire difference to our experience. Very few negatives can be said about the Rumblie, the host and hostess are personable, the rooms clean, modern and comfortable. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but if you are a Monarch of the Glen fan, you will love it! Simon has quite a few relics of the series that are displayed about the residence. We...
