Excellent view from our balcony of the old fort and church. Perfect distance from old town just across the bridge to the town walls. Comfortable room. Helpful owner who help sort out our hire car arrangements when we were moving on. Gave great information about using new ferry boats (Graciana and Elektra) to see the bay and travel back from Hertzeg Novi via Perast.
A small room rather than an apartment. Basically it's a room with a bedroom, naturally a bathroom and a small kitchenette corner. Reasonably clean but the place is literally one minute walk from the very pretty centre of the town, historic sites and restaurants. Not expensive but don't expect too much from your "apartment".
Booked a two bedroom apartment on the second floor and very satisfied with my stay. The location is very close to the old town of Kotor, maybe 4-5 minutes walk to the front gate. There is a supermarket opposite as well as a shopping centre with a couple of food places. The dock where the boat trips begin is also close by, perhaps 4-5 minutes walk. Check in and out were very good and the lady gave me a quick tour when I arrived. She also waited for me as I arrived a little later than planned. The hosts were were friendly and pleasant. Free parking is provided at the back of the property and is very tight but as long as you are a confident and competent driver you will be fine. I was there for 4 nights and there was always space as I came and went. The apartment itself was excellent, 2 bedrooms and a living area with small kitchenette. Both bedrooms were of a good size and contained comfortable double beds. There were plenty of power points for changing devices. The kitchenette had all the basics - fridge, plates, dishes, cutlery, sink etc. The only thing I missed was a microwave - that would have been super-useful so hopefully they look into that in the future. The balcony was huge, you could access it through the main lounge area or by either bedroom. The view was also excellent as I could see the old town as well as the wall as it weaved its way up the mountain. Especially pretty at night. The washroom had a shower but was a very large room. The place was clean and quiet, well priced and in a great location to explore the old town of Kotor or travel further afield.…
Tianis apartments is about a block from one of the entrances to old town, it’s right across the street from a mall where you can get provisions, it’s about 2 blocks from the bay and the boat tours, and it’s up the street from a FREE entrance to the Fortress trail. It’s literally perfect for exploring Kotor. The door and sign aren’t obvious, but it is nestled next to the mamma Mia cafe/bakery. The reception desk person was super friendly and helpful, showing me where to park my car and giving me good tips for the hike (of you enter from old town it’s €8)! My room was spacious: living room with small fridge and sink, large bed, closet, and a bathroom that seemed newly renovated. Spotless. I had a small balcony with a view of the mountains- perfect for a nighttime glass of wine while it rained. One thing to note- I left some trip planning to the last minute and was unable to do it from my room because the Wi-Fi was so weak. Not a big deal but worth noting if you need to stay connected. Only Liquid soap and a small bar in the bathroom. Bring everything else. There was dish soap and a sponge in the kitchen as well as utensils, glasses and a few dishes. They provide disposable slippers too. …
We arrived before check-in time and our room wasn't ready but they showed us where to park and let us leave our luggage. The parking out back was perfect and secure. We walked to Old Town (less than 5 minutes) and explored for a couple hours then returned to check in. The staff was very nice and our room was spotlessly clean. The AC worked great and so did the hot water. It was a little loud because they were chainsawing something next door, until I realized the bathroom window was open-I closed it and you could hardly hear a thing. The soundproofing was great. The only thing I didn't like was the mattress--it was pretty hard, like most European mattresses. The next morning we picked up some great pastries at the bakery on the next block and drove to Mostar. I highly recommend this hotel for the price and perfect location.…
