My wife & i spent a week in this apartment in June 2019 & as the title states it really was amazing. If your thinking of travelling to Kotor then i would recomment Apartments Lazarevic. Goran (Owner) is a wonderful host & provides you with lot's of useful tips. The aprtments have everything you need. It's only a short 10 minute walk down to the sea front or slighlty longer if your walking to the old town. There are lots of restaurants to choose from either in the old town ot the sea front. I just know we will return to Kotor & wouldnt hesitate to stay in this apartment again.
We stayed at the Apartments Lazarevic for 4 nights in Sept 2019. Walking distance to Shops, Restaurants, Bakeries & the Old City. Lovely views from our balcony of Kotor Bay. Highly recommend these apartments.
Stayed here for a week with friends. Goran and family were pleasant hosts. Apartment was well equipped for our needs, cosy and comfortable. Ok yes, it was a steep walk up but who cares when you have breath taking views from every angle. It is also quiet and away from the busy harbour where 1000s disembark from the cruiseliners daily. Highly recommend for anybody who wants to stay in Kotor.
We stayed for 3 nights here and truly loved it. We were met at the airport by Goran who is really knowledgeable about the local area, really helpful and a really good and honest guy. Our apartment was perfect for our needs - spacious rooms, the bed was comfy. There was a balcony from the bedroom and the of course the balcony that overlooks the beautiful fiord. Opening the French doors and looking out at that spectacular view was such a precious highlight of our holiday. In the day it's gorgeous and at night it's lit up from the building's on the other side. The kitchen/living room is open plan and there is also a dining table and four chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped, plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots pans - fridge , microwave... even sponge and washing up liquid!! It was so homely and cosy I could actually live there! The bathroom had a washing machine in it so that was amazing, the shower worked powerfully and was hot. The air conditioning worked well and was free. This is not 5 star luxury but you're getting a good deal, and we couldn't have been happier. The apartments are up a lane which yes it is steep - but a taxi is cheap enough if you don't fancy the calorie burn. We loved kotor, the old town is so pretty, you can truly spend hours just walking and admiring the cute buildings. The waters edge is also lovely and you can walk for miles in either direction (if you can prize yourself off the balcony). If you can get a day without cruise ships it's even better. We took the bus one day into the little village of perast - from there we got one of the little boats out to the islands, this could also be done from kotor for a little bit more money but perhaps better as you spend longer on the water. Another day we went up the serpentine road with Goran and enjoyed the stunning views over the whole bay. We also visited an old man who makes the delicacy of kotor the smoked prosciutto which by the end of our trip we had really come to like. We bought loads to take back along with his local home made honey and liquor. We also did the walk up the fortress which I must say was hard and my legs were shaking like a leaf for dAys after, so please do stretch your muscles especially the calves before you go up. It is worth it though. My husband only made it as far as the church but even that far the views are excellent. I would highly recommend the supermarket kamilja I think it's called, only ten mins from the apartment and sells everything you need, there is a bakery in there and a deli and they even sell full meals to take away, we didn't try the full meals but they looked very appetising. So all in all, there is nothing bad at all I have to say about the apartments lazarevic - we would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone. …
Sept. 9-15 it was our good fortune to stay with Goran and family at Apartments Lazarevic. Prior to leaving the States, Goran e-mailed driving directions and this is helpful as the apartments are in a residential area. We had a warm welcome from Goran's wife who showed us the apartment and explained the bottle of wine on our table was produced by the family! We had a spacious living and dining area, nice bedroom, bathroom with washing machine, and a terrace with table and chairs, plus clothes drying rack. As everyone comments, the terrace has a WOW view. The Old City of Kotor is a wonder, but it can get very hectic when the cruise ships are in. It was so nice to get down to the Old City before the tourists arrived and no matter how enjoyable our outing of the day, we anticipated returning to our nest at Apartments Lazarevic, perched on the hillside, above all the bustle. It was also a treat to get into the rhythm of the locals: we knew when the neighbor below us would water her plants, when the neighbor kittens would come out to jump and tumble, and when the children left for school. With the apartment's well-equipped kitchen, we enjoyed going to the local markets, and cooking at least 2 meals a day. Goran introduced us to a charming young driver, Branko, who drove us to spots around the bay and also to our next stop - Dubrovnik. This saved us a good amount of money, as our other options were significantly more expensive. We hated to move on from Kotor. All of Goran's family seemed like our family for the week. His wonderful mother, who speaks no English, would greet us with big smiles everyday and walked us out and wished us a good life when we left. It will be a blessing if we can return one day.…
