Unfortunately my family and I did not enjoy our trip or stay. We booked and paid in full for the weekend. We were so disappointed that we left the next morning as early as possible. Misleading information was given to us. Roads are in poor condition and not suitable for a normal car Zebra Chalet which we stayed in needs...

Top class chalets. Friendly staff that go out of their way to make your stay pleasurable. Plenty of game. Just a pity the road is very bad to reach the destination. The GPS coordinates given take you 2km past the entrance on a different but maybe in a very slightly better road to the destination.

We have been at the Olievenfontein Lodge in September for one day (the only guests that day!). The accommodation has spacious, nice rooms, a nice pool and the staff has been very friendly. We could even see giraffes directly from our terrace. However: It is in the middle of nowhere and is SELF-CATERING EXCLUSIVELY!!! You can not really buy anything...

What a wonderfully relaxing and enriching experience! The management team of Johan and Jen were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff were equally friendly and helpful, as well as being wonderfully efficient. The rooms were spotless and nicely equipped, pretty much exactly as described in the information blurb on the website. I'm sorry Henry R, but nowhere...

Having travelled to many places around the world, Olievenfontein has been the top place my family and I have been to. One instantly feels the burden of the world has been taken off one's shoulders. You would want time to stand still, as every moment is a joy in its own right. Our 8 years old, enjoyed reading a book...

We decided on Olievenfontein, for the mere fact that it looks quiet and tranquil. Me, my husband and 2 year old son stayed there for the weekend and was really disappointed in the fact that the manager was not willing to take us on a game drive (even though we paid for it - picnic) Our picnic was supposed to...

We went here with a group of 10 adults and stayed in different cottages. We did not enjoy our stay at all for the following reasons: - Eventough the hole complex is very nice and we'll looked after, the cottages themselves are only on a very basic level: No air-conditioning (only big fans, which are very noisy), tiny rooms, small...

We had a lovely weekend at Olievenfontein. We stayed in Waterbok and had a watering holes right in front of our chalet. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is ample wildlife on the farm, including giraffe, zebra, rooibok, kudu, impala, and more. The dirt road leading to the farm is in a bad state with lots of erosion. Although...

We book the "big chalet/lodge" for our extended family and had a marvellous time. The lodge is beautiful and equipped with everything one could ever hoped for! The view onto the waterhole from our beautiful "stoeps" were amazing! There is absolutely nothing to do but to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful nature. We considered the reserve drive more...

After a bad dirt road journey with hardly any signage (we chose the longer route requiring occasional telephonic guidance from the owners) ,the hosts welcomed us with fruit juice and moist towels - very thoughtful. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean and the grounds very well kept. A nice setting in the Bushveld with extremely friendly and helpful staff....
