The apartments are very conveniently located within minutes walk of shops, pharmacist, hairdressers, cafes and restaurants.

A quick ride either by taxi or bus into the city.

The rooms are very clean and the amenities are spot on. You are provided with free water, soft drinks, snacks and more! Very convenient for the business traveller arriving late and needs a snack.

The bathroom is a generous size with hot shower with easy access.

The rooms are very quiet with no noise at all during thr ay or night coming from other rooms or the road.

The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable.

I would definitely recommend this property to families or business travellers.

I've stayed in lots of serviced apartments in Canberra, most of which are 'tired', and was pleasantly surprised at how good the Knightsbridge is. It's key asset is its staff, who are friendly, professional and approachable. The rooms are in good condition and most of the kitchenware is still present. The parking is easy, with plenty of spare spaces. Leichhardt Street is a great location, as you are close to the restaurants and (I'll give a plug to) Caribou Bar and the Durham Arms. You are also only a 4 min walk from the excellent Supabarn. I would recommend the Knightsbridge for families and business travellers. If I was to find one minor drawback, that was my two bedroom apartment only had one bathroom, but perhaps there are alternative configurations available. I say this as other serviced apartments provide an ensuite for a 2-bedder. Regardless, this is the best run place in Kingston.

Had 3 nights here over Xmas break. Large apartment, Quiet, Very Clean, Well equipped kitchen. Hotel provided drinks and snacks free of charge for guests which is a nice touch. Garage was large and well lit and had large spaces for cars and plenty of spaces. Very modern and very well run premises. Enjoyed our stay and will definately be back. It is very close to the shops and bars in Kingston but you can not hear any noise.

This is a converted apartment block - even reception is a converted bedroom. Obviously some 2 bedroom apartments have been split to create two 1 bedroom apartments of which we had a small half of.

Plus points:

Very comfortable beds.
Large bathroom with walk in shower.
Free underground parking.
Quiet location.
Pool.
Couple of bottles of water and Coke (albeit full fat)

Negative points :

No option to have breakfast (in a 4 star property).
Airconditioning turns itself off frequently.
Extraction in bathroom was useless.
Walk in shower obviously had a door at some stage but it was either broken or removed.
Several large hairs on the bathroom floor.
Pathetically thin toilet paper.
Terrace area of ours and adjacent rooms clearly haven't had a decent clean in weeks! - ingrained dirt on tiles, grout and walls.
Stains on room carpet.
Pathetically small bedside tables which have a lamp with a ridiculously huge base.
Only 1 chair?
Having mirrors to the ceiling would be nice if someone got to polish the top half occasionally.
Hallway carpets are grubby.

Considering covid cases are currently on the rise again, the general lack of cleanliness is somewhat disturbing.

Management really need to review their cleaning policies and inspect rooms!!!!!

As a summary the place is overpriced for what is on offer and cleanliness needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency.

It does not warrant a 4 star rating in my opinion.

The location of these apartments is perfect with underground parking that is easily accessible. I had stayed here before in a very roomy 2-bedroom apartment and was disappointed with our very small single bedroom with only one chair. The bathroom was huge and well-appointed and everywhere was well-maintained, but we were sorry to be unable to sit together quietly after a busy morning out exploring.

I was in Canberra for a business trip. I was keen to stay around the Kingston area. Last time I stayed at East Hotel, but this time I chose Knightsbridge. Great location close to Kingston precinct, restaurants and bars etc. I couldn't even get into reception to check in as I didn't have a pass at this stage. I tried calling the number but no answer. I had to wait until another guest walked out and I walked in. The wait to check in was 5-10 minutes and realised only one staff member at the desk, can hardly blame her. She did the best she could. Once I waked to the desk she noticed I was hot and bothered and offered me a cold water. Check in was a good experience, car parking is underneath and deemed 'free/no charge'. Parking was easy. The room was nice, spacious and quiet. A few stains on the carpet but otherwise very appealing. At approx 9pm my air conditioner stopped working. I called the receptionist and she did the best to help, the outcome was swapping rooms. Not ideal but it was the same level and somewhat easy enough but inconvenient. The new room was amazing and very cool. The staff member was fantastic, she was the highlight of staying here. The hotel itself was quiet but quite a bit of street noise (cars etc). It was an ok stay but might look elsewhere next visit

We stayed here for 4 nights in March and the location was excellent. It is on the Parliament side of Lake Burley Giffin and about a 5 minute drive to PH and the National Gallery of Australia. A 3 minute walk away are the Kingston shops (not the Kingston Foreshore shops) and we thought it a better location than staying at the foreshore. In this group of shops are a pub and about 6 different restaurants and Silo Bakery where we had a delicious breakfast one morning. There is a supermarket a short walk away too. Parking is undercover and free. There were a few free snacks and drinks in the room bar fridge and free fruit at reception.

The hotel was in a great location, short walk to the Kingston shops, the Kingston foreshore and the Manuka shopping district. It was also a short walk to the Parliamentary Triangle. A very quiet area of the inner eastern suburbs of Canberra.

The room I had overlooked the street, on the top floor. The room was small in size, but adequate and very well maintained. The bathroom was light and bright and there was plenty of storage everywhere. The facility also had a lap pool and gym which looked in excellent condition.

The staff were warm and friendly and my roo was serviced daily and I felt very welcomed.

Stayed here twice. New sentence excellent location, close to Manuka shops, Oval and Kingston foreshore.

The one bedroom apartments have a lovely district view and come with a well-equipped kitchen, laundry and some free amenities such as chocolate bars, water, Nespresso etc.

Good facilities incl underground parking and pool.

Will definitely return.

I normally stay at East Hotel when in Canberra but thought I’d try Knightsbridge for something new and so glad I did. Stayed for three nights this week and loved everything about this property. Staff were welcoming and polite, parking was free and easy, room facilities were top notch, very spacious and comfortable with good quality linen and furnishings (including motorised blinds which kept this nice and dark in the morning). The bed was huge and the quality of sleep was excellent each night. Only a 3 minute stroll to the ‘old Kingston’ restaurants and cafes and about a 5 minute walk to Manuka. This area really is the best part of Canberra and feels very safe. Highly recommended property and will definitely return on my next visit.
