This motel was great value for money, if you're looking for a clean, self contained apartment near the Canberra CBD this is perfect. If you wanna spend hundreds of dollars a night to be close to the city in a trendy motel then go ahead, if you want somewhere to be able to relax and put your head down in...

Inquired on 2 occasions to make sure the 3 bedroom apartment had 2 bathrooms we were assured there was, only to arrive to one Bathroom, came across other people complaining of the same. Manager was very smart when contacted by phone. Was told we could have a refund if we found other accommodation but it was to late in the day...

I often stay at the Parklands when I travel to Canberra for work. The amenities are very good and the staff are friendly, accommodating and happy to help out. It is very handy to Dickson shops and all the great restaurants in Dickson. It is well insulated from any traffic noise so is quiet at night guaranteeing a good nights...

Enjoyed our stay here. Located in a quiet area away from downtown. For tourists you really need a car if you're staying here, its not within walking distance of any of the tourist attractions. Having said that, Canberra is not really a city that can be explored without wheels anyway. There is however a very convenient shopping centre and restaurant...

Rooms are dated but if you can overlook, great value for money. Also found the staff exceptionally helpful, had one issue where head of maintenance spent nearly hour going above and beyond when providing assistance. Pool and gym though don't expect to get a challenging workout done. Family friendly, convenient location. Free internet with inbuilt family mode, but whomever set...

This was my second stay in three weeks. I was impressed the first visit, hence the second stay. I really appreciated the safe underground car parking. The indoor pool was the perfect temperature for an after National Gallery visit. My husband said it was difficult to decide on which of the many restaurants in Dickson to choose from, but all...

We only stayed for the one night, and there was comfort in knowing that the car park was secure in the basement with security key card access. This is my second stay in this hotel and it does need a bit of renovation. There was a strong smell of chlorine upon entering the bedroom which emanated from the bathroom. A...

I had an apartment room which included a good-sized lounge/dining area and well-equipped kitchenette, bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed and bathroom/laundry with washing machine and sink. The décor is definitely dated but generally clean, except for the carpet which is stained and needs to be replaced. The hotel is located in Dickson, on the north side of the city,...

We stayed in a so called 3 room Apartment, what a joke, it is only "ONE ROOM" with a cupboard between the king size bed and single bed, the carpet was so filthy walls and dust on vent in bathroom was so think it was falling off it, although the staff were nice, but the service part of the apartment...

Stayed in Canberra for a fortnight in various hotels. This sadly came last. The positives are nice witty staff. Good work in a trying environment. The negative - the room - oh the room. What were they thinking. Really words cant describe the basic nature of the room. The blandness. The sloppy maintenance. The outdated decor. The utilitarian bathroom. Everything (Except...
