A popular hotel in a rural location. The beds were comfortable and the room included a microwave and plates which was a nice surprise. It was a short drive to the shops and restaurants at Dickson and close to Thoroughbred Park and the Exhibition Centre. Would definitely stay again.

My friend and her son and myself and my 3 sons stayed 2 nights in the school holidays. We needed a base to sleep, shower, unwind & have a cuppa. This place served this purpose. For cheap n' reasonably cheerful this is fine. The cleaning leaves a little to be desired, as our young chidren kept foraging "stuff" out from...

Thai is an outdated motel and has not been kept to hygienic standards. We booked a family room for a night and there were cobwebs and dirt all through the room.plus other stains on the roof don't even know what they were! It was a Musty smelling, very dark room. This is a very dated motel I wouldn't recommend. We...

Wendy, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Motel is a bit dated (but I found Canberra itself to be so, too) but fairly clean and quiet and only a few minutes into Canberra city. Ideal for an overnight stay, I wouldn’t stay longer with kids as there is no pool and you DO have to drive everywhere.

The motel is basic. The room was adequate, with a reasonable bed and bathroom, and a little kitchen. It contained a double bed, with a second tiered bed which could have accommodated two more people (probably best if they were children). It was serviced daily. The tariff was higher than I would have expected for a motel of this quality....

Decent room with good staff. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. The local grocers is not too far away. You can drive, but it's also a nice walk. It has a nice porch. It's in a convenient enough spot in which to reach the rest of the city.

This is an excellent, basic, value for money motel. I will be staying here regularly and quite happily. The beds are truly wonderful and so comfortable! The rooms are quiet, good sized, and with basic kitchen equipment. The shower is excellent and products are supplied. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She employs young, inexperienced staff and trains them...

We needed to stop over having been to see the floriade, had difficulty getting twin beds and this motel had availability. Good value for money, hot shower, convenient to get to from Federal highway and also to the nearby restaurant in Dickson and brunch at Manuka. Negative: air conditioner/ heater not working, no hairdryer no exhaust fan in bathroom. and...

Stayed here years ago but it's deteriorated so much since then. the male in front office was glued to tv watching the footy and our check in seemed to be a disruption to his day. FRont office has a big patch of mould over ceiling which doesn't give a good first impression. grounds now very unkempt. CIg butts laying over...

My family and I stayed at this hotel while on a short trip to Canberra. Few good points; nice and cheap for a family of four and the location. Few negative points; no free wifi which for a young family with kids is not ideal, and the bedding situation was not to our liking. There were 3 single beds, including...
