I just don't understand why the free wifi offered by most motels and mid range hotels are non existent. The room was comfortable. The bathroom towels were a bit worn but overall we accepted the condition as we were here for one night.

A fairly last minute booking had me going to this 1960s hotel in the suburb of Curtin. While it was not as central as I'd like, I think the taxi from the airport was about $32 which isn't much more than to more central options....More

location is reasonable if you have limited requirements
