Overall stay was very pleasant. Good location for walking down to botanical gardens or circular quay. Staff was somewhat helpful, but not the most friendly. Very professional. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I had a room off an alley which was noisy in the morning with garbage pick up. Read guide provided from hotel to assist with management of lights...

A beeping noise all night long from inside the room made sleep impossible. We were promised it was fixed but it continued on the second night. Executive rooms tight and cramped. Could have been worse but should have been a lot better.

Hello, Thank you for your time in writing a review. My sincere apologies for the bad sleep you incurred from the beeping noise. We had rectified the issue with our door bell from the first night but it was in general use on your second night. Nothing will change your bad sleep on day one and again I can only...

A 2+ hotel in a great location. Room was tiny, with no elevator beyond the fourth floor. There were no room at all for our luggage, which was on the bed while we were no sleeping, otherwise you couldn't walk in the room. Staff was great though.

Very good service from Hotel check in staff. Clean modern room with refurbished bathroom. All most unexpected for the good rate. Even got to watch the film crew for Home and Away do their thing. Coffee shop just outside with 2 friendly ladies. Kings X Station 5 minutes away and interesting walk to Rushcutters Bay.

i was dubious at first to the location, but it turned out excellent. Lovely restaurants in the area, close to trains, buses and city. Staff were all polite and helpful.my only negative was size of room - very small for a couple - but good value for money!

No complaints!! Far better than other hotels in the same price bracket. Bed was a little hard but that's personal preference. Great location for a city break, clean, good service and would stay again.

Staff were extremely friendly however i find the room was too noisy due to the windows were not double glazed so i could hear street noise and fan noise from the air conditioning placed outside on the wall. I could not fall asleep all night so woke up with a headache and tired eyes.

Staying in Kings Cross

Neighbourhood Profile
Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
