Easy Go Backpackers was the only place that really felt like home in Australia. My happiest times in Australia were here. I should have written this review a long time ago and I can really recommend it as a long term stay for backpackers in Sydney. There is a friendly vibe and social atmosphere and you get to know the...

I don't really know where to begin. My experience was so awful that I ran away not only from the hostel but from Sydney! The hostel is like most of the cheapest accommodation in the city center: dirty, noisy and unprofessional. I was very impressed by the staff, both cleaning and reception. Especially two boys, one young German guy at...

The first thing that greets you when you enter this establishment is the stench of death incarnate in the hallway and stairs up to the reception, same with the elevator. Smells a tad moldy you might say. Got my room key etc sorted and read over the room rules, no loitering, keep a clean and tidy room etc. What meets...

I've stayed at a few hostels around Sydney's CBD. The YHA's, wake up, nomads, base and some others I forget the name of. This hostel charges $27 for 10 bed and $30 for 8 bed, so to start it's a reasonable price for the CBD. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfortable. The staff are friendly and the...

The best things about this hostal are its location, relative price and the atmosphere. The people are really friendly and even though lots of people stay there for a long time they welcome new people. If I was pushed for cons I would just say it is a little dingy and the internet could be faster.

The hostel is directly on George st. There was road construction all night so I could not sleep. At 11:30 I was ask to leave my bed and go to reception because they accused me of not paying. They had not recorded my payment it took them 30 minutes to go through the video to see my payment taking place....
