It was my first time in Sydney. I dont have any particular thing I wanted to try out except see the famed Opera house. We got to the hotel early and checked in alright. There were a bunch of brochures in the lobby for Sydney travellers to choose from. A colleague of mine mentioned the free walking tour available towards...

Very well situated (a short walk) for the international conference centre and the staff were all friendly and helpful throughout. There are also lots of nearby restaurants. In terms of the hotel itself, the room was comfortable if not the most modern or well equipped. A word of warning is that across the road is a major construction site. The...

For the experienced traveller location is by far the most important consideration when planning a trip. The Holiday Inn Darling Harbour in Sydney is perfect for the short visit. It is within walking distance to the city centre, many tourist sites and surrounded by cafes & restaurants. The hotel is adjacent to China Town and surrounded by all the necessary...

1) Location - near Darling Harbour; behind the hotel is China Town. 2) Breakfast - good spread of breakfast starts at 6:30am. DIY fruit juice is a plus. 3) Rooms and bathroom were clean and spacious. 4) I have neutral comment on staff. Some are smiling and some with no smile. The hospitality of an International brand is missing.

A little dated, could do with an upgrade but clean and all you need for a short visit, the location and price are great, we would definitely stay here again. Not forgetting to mention the staff are very friendly and helpful.

This review is low due to the hotel room not having heat, we plugged in a blow dryer to take the chill out of the air at night, and the fact they charge for WiFi, which I hate to be "nickel-ed and dimed" to death. The hotel was also a good distance from the airport which was costly to and...

Dear denacarver2016, Thanks so much for sharing your feedback with us. We are really sorry that you used the blow dryer to heat the room and was charged for the wifi, which didn't help make your stay as much pleasant as it can be. I always choose to stay at this hotel because of its ideal location. I recently stayed here for business and was disappointed. For the rates you pay, I expected more. The rooms are very dated and there are currently renovations going on across the road. The location is good though. I think it depends on what you looking for.

Emanating a quiet charm right in the middle of the action, Holiday Inn Darling Harbour has the best that Sydney has to offer on its doorstep.
