Rooms were tired and felt unclean, No drinks in mini bar, not even bottled water, if you require a drink from the mini bar you need to get it from reception, if you want it delivered to your room they charge you $5 delivery if you don't spend minimum of $25. When you open the fridge door the whole bar... More

Staff were lovely, room was a good size and enjoyed the rooftop pool on the last morning. The sauna took a long time to heat up. Great location for getting to central, Hyde Park, etc. Such a shame the room smelt damp, there was visible dust on things and stains on the leather and fabrics in the room.

Visiting a few places Down Under, we ended up staying at the Vibe Hotel. Nice & well kept place. Spacious room on the 8th floor, with big windows and nice view on the area. Good size bath room with walk in shower and bath. Awesome rooftop terrace with pool. Gym and sauna also on the upper floor. Downsides: quite a... More

I was on a business trip and noticed the promised complimentary wifi was bogus. You could not even buy yourself a decent internet connection which made the stay problematic as i had tons of work to finish. I called the reception 10 times, they even came up to the room. The support line were talking about different hours of the... More

There really isn't anything to complain about, but it should be noted that older people with mobility issues may struggle with the shower over bath set up. I realise many hotels still have this but the wet room style is better suited to the older demographic. The staff did everything they could to resolve this issue by providing bath mats.... More

Right next to Goulburn Street Car Parking Station, not far from train stations Central, Museum or Town hall. Walking distance to Chinatown, Capitol Theatre and Light rail stop which takes you to darling Harbour, Lyric Theatre and Casino. Bus stop very close took us straight to Circular Quay as we were there to see Crowded House at Sydney Opera House.... More

Great service, comfy bed, friendly staff. Close to the top end of the city, and a 20 minutes walk to Pitt St Mall. Loads of old school pub on pretty much every corner near the hotel and lots of food outlets.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
