Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

We arrived early for check in, the staff was very accommodating and had our room ready in about 30 minutes, they also upgraded us to a mini suite. Our room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The staff was very helpful with directions and how to get to the various plac

We recently spent three nights here before boarding a cruise ship. The hotel is located within an easy walk to the cruise port, the opera house, the "rock" area and other downtown sites.
The services provided by all of the Concierges really helped make the visit far more enjoyable

The location is great if you want to take an early ferry from Circular Quay. I had a city view room, which was OK, although you can see that the hotel is quite old. The bathroom as well as the bed sheets weren't very clean, it almost felt like the sheets hadn't been changed afte

We booked for just one night as a convenient stop with easy transport options to the airport. This meant we did not have time to make much use of all the hotel offered such as the pool and restaurants. But for our short stay we found the room to be very comfortable with spacious

We get 2 queen bed room. How many USB port do you have in one room? If I request to get international adapter, do you charge for it? Do I ask when I check in?
Dear Dreamer28384227518, We do have one adaptor in the room and if you require more you can request. We do not have USB port in our rooms. Kind Regards, Lara - Reservations

How is the sleep quality at this hotel. In general, I don't find Marriott hotels to be quiet--soundproofing is not adequate between rooms and door slams are really loud.
I was on the 22nd floor and away from the elevator for 3 nights, all was very quiet.

We don't have all the myriad of extra charges that USA Hotels do - City/State/Resort tax etc etc. The charge shown is what it is. Lounges etc will be explained at check-in desk. Concierge can do anything that they do in any other top hotel - eg tours, hire cars etc. They may well arrange pick-up etc - but a Taxi is often MUCH cheaper. AND - we don't do the tipping scene as much. Help with bags may deserve a small tip BUT leaving money on the pillow is just an American thing - I know NO Aussie that does it in Australia ! We pay our staff a proper living wage. A tip is for service above and beyond - not just for doing their job. Any good travel store will sell you an adaptor for Australia. We often bring a power board (ie 4/6) so we can plug in a host of gadgets. But the front desk would have some to borrow. Better to have your own so you can use it again elsewhere.
Where is the executive lounge located?
Dear 392robin, You can find the Executive Lounge on the 2nd floor. It is open from 6am to 12am everyday. We look forward on seeing you there. Kind Regards, Lara - Reservations

Hi, We are arriving on 29 July 2019 (family of 4 with 2 children) off an early morning arriving international flight from the UK, arriving at the hotel c. 9am. Can you advise what facilities there are in the complementary early arrivals lounge and whether we would need to book it. Thanks Mike
Dear Culture437370, Our early arrivals lounge is available at a special rate of $20 per room for our guests to relax and refresh - comprising of lounge facilities, free internet Wi-Fi, television, business center facilities, tea & coffee and full shower and change facilities. Should you wish to take this option please advise our Front Desk team on check-in. Kind Regards, Lara - Reservations

"Don’t spend extra for the view of the opera house. You’ll be looking at it squeezed between two buildings "
"Room was excellent. The high floors are a must."
"Room was upgraded to harbour view but it is a bit small and old decoration. No bathtub in my room is a little pity. "
"A high room with a harbor view is very nice, but ask first if the view has become obscured by the new construction nearby."
"Pick a harbour side room if you have a choice."
