As of Feb 2017, there were lots of construction in the lobby but rooms are quite good. Otherwise, I found the rooms quite nice and comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was fair, to be honest. The rooms have great views as I stayed twice this month and had one view of the Harbour Bridge and another of the Opera House....

Great location, close to The Rocks, Harbour Bridge, Ferries and the Opera House. We had a room with a great view of the Opera House. Room was spacious and well equipped. Staff was very accommodating and competent. The atmosphere and the food in the executive lounge was not up to standard.

This is a tired Marriott that is undergoing renovation. Renovation impacts: driveway is one lane, lobby is like a bus station, the restaurant has limited hours and is clearly under construction, at times only one elevator is working (this in a hotel with +25 floors). At peak times, you might have to wait 15 minutes (as I did) for an...

The room was nice but the construction out front shook the building 2 of the 6 days we were there. You could not hardly talk to the people at the front desk. All restaurants were closed. No bathroom downstairs. Having said that, the staff were all very courteous and no complaints about the hotel. Would be great if just for...

I think I would have liked the hotel more if the construction was not going on, I might have stayed in another hotel, the rooms were a little tired and it seamed as if they had 2 or 3 different styles of furniture in the room as if they had run out of furniture that matched , they also had...

The hotel is in a great location. We had the opera house view and the view was very nice and the room was a good size. The bathroom had a tub and separate shower but definitely looked like it needed an upgrade. The bathroom also wasn't very clean upon arrival and we had to request that it would be cleaned....

I was lucky enough to travel here for my job. While the lobby and concierge of the Marriott was under construction, it wasnt really a big deal. The rooms were still lovely and comfortable and the staff was very friendly! they had a little coffee station set up, not sure if this is always there, but it was lovely. The...

We stayed here for a few nights before and after our cruise out of Sydney. The first stay we were lucky to get an upgrade to a suite which was very spacious, and had great views of the bridge and Opera House. Our second stay was just one night and while we did get upgraded, our room was pretty average,...

Super hotel in a fabulous location, perfect for visiting the Rocks, Harbour Bridge, Opera House and major restaurants in this iconic city. Adjacent to the ferries to visit Manly Beach and take water tours in the busy and most unbelievably attractive in the world. Even allowing for the refurbishment of the reception area the staff were excellent in overcoming the...
