Location is good for with train less than 5 min walk, CBD 10 - 15 min walk, plenty of breakfast, lunch and dinner options very close. Decor is cool but don't expect a modern trendy boutique hotel rather a comfortable and spacious all be it slightly dated. Will stay again.

Just finished a 4 night stay at Morgan's Boutique Hotel. What a great find. Perfect location for all Sydney's main sights and attractions and at a very reasonable price. The rooms are spacious and clean, not luxury but more than adequate. The rooms were cleaned daily and the bed was super comfy. I see that they have planning permission for...

Don't expect the Ritz (your not paying for it!) but this well priced little gem is in an awesome location, central to transport, a hub of eateries and provides a great base to explore Sydney from. The room we got this time was a bit tired with a chipped bath tub but still supplied all our requirements for pit stops...

We were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming environment and beautiful architecture and art deco of this small hotel. This unassuming place was located in a popular but not too desirable part of the city. However, unexpectedly it had a quiet and impressive character. The receptionist was friendly and helpful with information on the surroundings. More importantly, the one-bedroom apartment was...

This small hotel, has great little apartments, that my fiancée and I stayed here for 3 nights and commuted every day from Kings Cross Station (5 minutes walk) using the train system being a tourist. There are many restaurants in the area and a Coles supermarket open 7am to midnight 7 days a week. A great little pizza restaurant just...

Would not recommend this hotel. The staff are bloody rude and indifferent. If I could give minus points for a review I would. Never again..:( The room allocated had a view to a brick wall. It's ok for a short business stay, but not family friendly.

When we arrived to the hotel I was checking cleanness of the room. I found hair in the bed which destroyed my first impression. Furniture is old. They are not serving breakfast unfortunately. Good staff at reception. Overall good hotel but do not expect a lot Good Location near by bar area. stayed there in 2013..

This is truly the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at and I am a world traveler. The bathroom was full of mold; note the filthy shower they provided me (see photo). Reporting it to the desk clerk, there was not even shock or an apology ("the cleaners have already gone home"). The air conditioner was as loud as a...

Staying in Darlinghurst

Neighbourhood Profile
Darlinghurst
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
