The hotel is in a very good location but one needs to climb steps to get to the lobby. I checked in a room and discovered that it was noisy and asked for a change. I was led to another room which was the same. Noise came from the exhaust in the bath room and I was told it is...

Hi Jack C, Unfortunately our exhaust vents in the bathroom run anytime you place your room key into the wall. We are looking into purchasing equipment which will slow the van, in return this should also reduce the noise. Hopefully the next time you come through we will have these installed. This hotel is gorgeous a huge improvement. Rooms use to have smudge marks on windows and mirrors, dust and just not cleaned. Come back and you to will see the improvement....

It's also approximately 15 minutes walk to Darling harbour and 35 minutes walk to the Opera House (or 5 minutes on the train). You...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighbourhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theatre, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.
