I usually stay at the Langham or Park Hyatt on my visits to Sydney but this time I needed to be closer to the main CBD. The Four Seasons was an outstanding choice! From the warm welcome to the upgraded room, each aspect of the hotel was superb. The room was spotless and very large. I forgot my toothbrush and the one provided was eco friendly so I didn't feel bad for using it. The breakfast area is wonderful with every type of dish imaginable. The coffee is delicious and the staff very accommodating. I ordered room service my last night and the steak arrived quickly and at the perfect temperature. The Four Seasons offers exceptional service and good value in the heart of Sydney's CBD area. It's an easy walk from the T-line to the hotel and the major tourist sights are just around the corner. I will be staying there again on my next visit!

2018 was our last stay and it's hard to imagine it got better but it did. Staying in a full harbour view room was super special as part of our week-long stay for birthday celebrations, which were acknowledged by nearly everyone we interacted with and special recognition at the restaurant. The greeting we received on arrival had us feeling like royalty. To all the folks at Four Seasons Sydney, thank you for your wonderful work, we are looking forward to coming back sooner than six years!

This hotel is perfect for families with young kids. The staff really want to help make your stay better. During the check-in, my kids were given some complimentary plush toys and then, upon being told we were upgraded , I requested the kids tent in the room . The room was spectacular: the view of the Sydney Opera House right under us, and the room had a little table and living room and king size bed. My kids loved it and my son claims this is a 20 star hotel. We requested room service and the team was able to provide something of menu for my daughter. The dinner was delicious and the person delivering dinner was kind and helpful. We stayed in some other hotels in Sydney and this was the one that the kids felt more welcome and included. Sounds like a small thing but it is not. FS makes little guests feel like guests. Did not have time for breakfast prior to leaving and the team prepared a wonderful boxed breakfast. Don’t be intimidated by the corporate looking building, it is wonderful and the service is impeccable. The only area that the other hotel we visited won over FS was the bathroom and its somewhat dated tiles. This was our favorite

We were a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but we managed to have an outstanding stay at the Four Seasons while in Sydney for work. Yes, the elevators got a bit busy (especially with folks staying overnight before or after a cruise), and yes, the rooms are a bit small, and yes, the bathrooms could use some more space. The staff made up for these shortcomings -- we especially enjoyed the turndown service every night and all of the bottles of water that were replenished every day. The breakfast (included in our rate) was indeed in an interior space but it was quite bountiful and we looked forward to breakfast every day. We lucked into having a wonderful server on our first morning and requested to sit in his section on subsequent days, which ensured great consistency. By the third day, they brought us our flat whites without even asking! As others have pointed out, getting an Uber/taxi to the front entrance is a bit tricky with part of George Street closed off because of the light rail. One solution: exit the building on the third floor by the swimming pool and have your Uber pick up/drop off on Harrington Street. Much easier without the hassle.

I am happy to read this review as you see beyond the "hardware" and have focused on the "software", which is the service. It's the software, the intangibles, that make the difference. Thank you for highlighting the service and having an "outstanding" stay with us despite the shortcomings! Sincerely Uday General Manager

The location is fantastic and we had a modern large corner room with views of the opera house. The trams are easy to access and go along the shopping street. When you are in your room you feel as if you are in a Four Seasons hotel and housekeeping is excellent. However if you opt for a smaller room it is very small. This is, however, an outdated hotel with public areas that need refurbishing, it is quite shabby in parts, in particular the lobby, forecourt and lifts. Cannot comment on food as we didn't eat there. This is also a conference hotel so at busy times there can be a long wait for the lift

My wife and I along with another couple recently stayed in Sydney before a cruise vacation. While there, we stayed for three nights at the Four Seasons. This hotel is an excellent choice. It is located in the Circular Quay area and is a short walk to many excellent things to do. There are many eateries, pubs, and shops nearby. It is also a short walk to the Botanical Garden, Opera House, on the ferry wharfs. The hotel is very clean and the service is fabulous. The rooms are excellent and well kept. We highly recommend this hotel.
