Well equipped room but furnishings and bathroom a little tired hence they lost a star from us.

I booked last minute (on the day I was staying here) and the staff attempted to get me a room with better views, alas, no such luck. But I appreciate them trying…

Really enjoyed our stay at The Four Seasons, it’s in a fantastic location probably not much more than 500 yards to Circular Quay.

As many weary travelers we arrived exhausted from a very long flight, but feeling ready for what had been in the past a luxury hotel. Of course arriving at 6:00 AM you are prepared for a wait for your room....but again world travelers and a...More
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The
weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.

We stayed two weeks ago and access was ok. Works still in progress but you could get through ok. We entered through Harrington Street which we find to be the best way in as well. Staff on hand there to assist.
