I wanted to do something special for my birthday but was upset that I'd spent so much money on such an average room. Our view was of george street road works and some rubbish dumps on the street. The room is small and nothing special. I just couldn't get over how much money I'd spent on a normal room! There... More

We recently stayed 2 nights in a nice corner Club level room with an awesome view of the bridge and Opera House. Check in at the club was ok. There was a new person being trained and for some reason they had difficulty finding our reservation. The room was beautiful and had really one of the most amazing views in... More

We came here for two nights and we're glad we did. We had an awesome view of the harbour and the spa here was awesome too. the staff were all friendly and fast to help. We ordered room service for our last night and were surprised that they do it all up and setting up the table for us. We'd... More

Our room #2109 & 2711 which had an amazing view of the Sydney Opera house & the Harbor Bridge. The hotel is located in the perfect location for tourists. Walking distance to all... More

I stayed here for a business awards night and was upgraded to a corner suite with beautiful views of the opera house. The room was fantastic and spacious, shower was huge & water pressure great. King size comfortable bed. The only thing that disappointed was waiting for my car in valet. I rang about 10 minutes before checking out, and... More

Great location walking distance to many highlights of Sydney. Very nice staff and atmosphere. Great service we received during our whole stay. Arrived 8 am to the hotel, were informed hotel was fully booked and we would be given a room as soon as first guests checked out. Reception could also have said check in start 3 pm but did... More

Four Seasons Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room had a great view of the Opera House and was very quiet. Chocolates & parking were included which were a great option. Room & bed were comfortable and well maintained.

Stayed here for a conference, rooms well appointed and clean. All the catering over the conference was fantastic, with a great variety each day, breakfast was always exceptional with a large buffet selection and coffee was pretty good as well.

Gorgeous hotel and the location could not be better. My room on the 25th floor had one of the best views I have ever seen- overlooking the harbor. All comforts met and the staff were particularly helpful with restaurant and running route suggestions.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
