The foor seasons hotel in sydney is not at the level of other four seasons hotel i stayed in the past : rooms are old and the one i stayed in had a terrible view on...the highway...the hotel needs a significant refurbishment...food is 'ok'....but the overall feeling of the hotel is 'old fashioned hotel'...quite disapointing...

Overall, this was a nice hotel and it is perfectly located to the Rocks, the Opera House, and the train station from the airport. The reason I give it a 3 star is because I paid for a Full harbour view and got what I feel was an Opera House/partial harbour view. Not only was the view a complete dissappointment,...

From check-in to departure after a 2 night weekend stay the service was attentive and exceptional. Nothing was too difficult, buffet breakfast excellent and room great value for money considering views of harbour and opera house. Location excellent, we will be back again.

Without asking, they put me in a special access room, meaning lower sink, open shower, etc. not comfortable if you don't need those facilities. Stayed one weekend in September. Great hotel from once we arrived until we left. Baggage collected at front door when we arrived left to our room. Staff were very friendly. Had breakfast in the hotel on both mornings, great selection to choose from. Great view from the hotel, you could see the Harbour bridge. Location of hotel is great for...

We stayed at this hotel as a bit of a splurge when visiting Sydney for a cousin's wedding. We used Frequent Flyer Points+Pay to get a Harbour/Opera House view (a view that was worth it) and found the room extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed. The tv greeted us! ☺ And we made sure we took advantage of the complimentary...

Booked 4 full harbour view rooms for a family occasion on the weekend. From start to finish this was a 5 star experience. At every touch point the staff were helpful, informed, and professional in a friendly way. The key to the rooms naturally was the view and it was stunning. Size of the room and bathroom was fine and...

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
